Great location, would go back and stay again. Breakfast is worth the price. Get up early to take pictures without all the crowds, and being in the center of the village is the place to be.

We had a wonderful stay at Albergo La Cisterna in San Gimignano. The hotel was very clean, the food was excellent, and the location in the historic center is perfect. A very charming and beautiful place — highly recommended!

Un emplacement central dans une petite cité de Toscane perchée et riche en monuments. L'hôtel est simple mais très confortable et propre. Le personnel est souriant et à l'écoute du client. Notre chambre en angle (N°81) avait une vue sublime sur les collines environnantes. De plus nous y avons très bien dîné et pris un petit-déjeuner fourni.

Hotel location in the heart of the main square , perfect location. Hotel staff very attentive and nothing was too much trouble, the room was perfect . A very good breakfast with stunning views. Be warned that to drop luggage off you have to drive to the front door , a drive through the back of the city and some narrow streets. Follow the directions the hotel supply and you should be ok. I enquired about the shuttle service from the car park as there was four of us with large suitcases , this was lost in translation and was not made available to myself. All in all would not hesitate to stay in this hotel again , 5 star .
