No extra fee for parking. Gated for extra security. Key card access only on all entry points. Newly-renovated rooms on the 3rd level. Updated facilities with modern features. USB charging ports. Heating and auto-timer light in toilet. Elevator is old but remains functional. Housekeeping crew missed cleaning room on one or two occasions but staff was attentive to provide towels upon request. Lots of restaurants within the hotel vicinity.

Although it is not in Union Square, which everyone chooses, I personally think it is better here. First, the price is cheaper than United, and the second is the convenient transportation. There are many buses at the door. It is convenient to go anywhere. The bus costs $3 per person, and it’s free within two hours. By the way, the room is very new, smart toilet, I booked the cheapest room, so the space is quite small, the two suitcases are spread out, not easy to put, but the room design is reasonable, I like it. Good for travellers who want a cheap place to stay with facilities for cooking. No privacy at all - there aren't even curtains on the individual beds.

The staff were extremely friendly and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible. The location is great and very convenient to explore downtown SFO if you are ready to walk 20 mins to explore attractions like Ghirardelli Square, Pier 39, and many other attractions. Their breakfast was good. There is parking in the hotel, but it is subject to availability. Also, there is no elevator so please be mindful if you have aged travelers who cannot use the stairs.

It was in a great location, close to the tourist area and close to the bus stop. The room has three bunk beds, two chairs, a locker for valuables, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The bed had blackout curtains on the top and bottom, which were very easy to close, and it was simple and comfortable enough for just sleeping. The valuables locker could be locked if you had your own padlock, and it was not like the lockers in Boston where you store your bags and clothes, but only small handbags and valuables. Breakfast was free and consisted of cereal, yogurt, bananas, etc. The staff was very friendly and I would definitely use the hotel again if I have the chance to go again.

Outdated facilities, especially air conditioners, or window machines, opened like tractors, and were so noisy that the locomotive roared past at night and could not cover the roar of the air conditioners. The internal environment of the hotel is quite good, parking is convenient, check-in and check-out are fast, although the breakfast is simple, but the taste is acceptable.

The Front Desk manager was very friendly and helpful when we told him the noise, and immediately changed the 4th floor (top floor) for us. Even though there were unavoidable traffic noise around all the motels nearby, we were able to enjoy a 6 night comfy stay. Location is great, only 3min walk to a grocery store. 5min walk to a Japanese restaurant (no mandatory 20% tips😄). A pleasant walk to the famous fisherman's wharf.
