Stroll down to see the boats of the Marina, walk on groomed paths or the sandy beaches of Crissy Field where you’ll see the best kite boarders and wind surfers playing in the water. On calmer days you’re more likely to spot a sea lion bobbing in the surf, and occasionally a dolphin or even a grey whale. Continue to historic Fort Point at the base of the Golden Gate Bridge, just two miles west, where surfers hang ten when he conditions are right. or take the more rigorous hiking paths up the hill to walk across the iconic bridge itself.
