Chose this hotel for its great location—close to my meetings and downtown. The room was compact but clean, with a comfortable bed and good Wi-Fi (essential for work). Staff was polite and efficient, nothing fancy but no complaints.
Would stay again for business, especially if the price is right.

A well-decorated hotel, the front desk saw me with a child and suggested that I change to a multi-bed room for free, because I didn't bother to change. The toilet and bathroom are not in the room, so if you want to take a shower, you don't need to think about it. Breakfast was average. For San Francisco, where soil is at a premium, it is recommended to stay.
The location is good. There are two supermarkets in the center of Los Angeles. You can buy ingredients to cook in the kitchen. The hostel provides cups, Yantai and microwave ovens. The 6-person room is a bit crowded. There is a refrigerator in the room. There are two bathrooms on each floor. The shower water is also quite hot. The downside is that the police car sometimes makes loud noises at night, and the surrounding homeless people talk loudly, which can easily affect poor sleep. People, if they only live for a short time, it's okay.
Awesome hotel for the price! Was looking for something affordable for one person and near BART. It's right next to the Civic Center stop, the front desk attendants were kind and helpful, room was simple and clean. Nice big bathroom mirror. Wireless was good, I worked during the day in my room. The coffee shop inside the hotel was closed for some reason, but there's so much coffee in SF I'd just walk somewhere.

We had a lovely stay at the Embassy hotel. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, the bathroom looked a bit worn but still clean. It would be really nice if they could put a small kettle in the room, because the only way to get a cup of tea was to pour cold water in a paper cup, go to the second floor, and use their microwave to boil the water. Some people mentioned in their reviews that the area was unsafe because of the homeless people and drug addicts. While it is true that there are many homeless people in this area and we did see a few people shoot up in the middle of the street in bright daylight, we never felt unsafe. It was, perhaps, a bit surprising, but nevertheless safe.
