Really enjoyed my stay at Hotel Julian! The staff were super friendly and welcoming! The neighborhood is really quiet and close to downtown SF! Also you can walk up the surrounding hills for some really nice views!
The room was spacious and clean and had good sound insulation. I would love to stay here again when I return to SF!

The hotel is newly renovated. I like the blue and white color scheme. The room is spacious. The hotel entrance is not big, but the lobby is not small. The sound insulation is average. You can hear people walking upstairs and the noise of vehicles on the street. I am quite satisfied with the lodging. It takes more than ten minutes to walk to Union Square. There is a breakfast shop opposite, a barbecue and a pizza takeaway shop next to it, and a supermarket on the corner. It is very convenient to buy things and eat. The most amazing thing is that there is a delicious hamburger shop two blocks away (see Figure 1 for prices). I have been there twice. In short, I recommend this hotel. It is fast, affordable and cost-effective.

There are pizza and sandwich shops nearby, and it's reasonably priced.
It's on a hill, so you have to use the Muni to get around.
It was inconvenient that the Wi-Fi didn't reach the rooms easily.
