Lombard Plaza Motel

The location is very convenient, a 10-minute walk from a large supermarket. You can take a bus to the San Francisco Bridge or other attractions. The room has 2 large beds, which can accommodate four people. The temperature difference between morning and night is quite large, and it is still not very warm even with the heater on. The most unsatisfactory thing about the whole stay is that when booking, payment is required upon check-in, but the hotel has already withdrawn the money before you even get to the counter. When asking the counter staff, they said the money was withdrawn in advance because it was after 3 pm. What is the reason for this! ! ! We arrived at the hotel around 15:40 that day. We were not a no show or late. Even if we were late, the hotel counter staff was obliged to write a letter to inform us of the advance withdrawal and the arrival time. When we arrived, we asked to swipe other cards or swipe in 2 transactions. The counter staff told us that we had withdrawn money from the authorized credit card in advance and there was no way to swipe the cards separately. What was even more strange was that I actually received a card swipe notification from the bank, which was that the room fee was swiped in 2 transactions. Obviously, the system has a way to swipe the cards separately, but the staff was unwilling to do so for us. This is something they should improve.
