The hotel is in a great location, convenient for everything. You can walk to Chinatown, SFMOMA, and more. There are also many restaurants nearby. The hotel is also quite safe at night. However, be sure to choose a room that doesn't face the street.

Great location, takes only 30 mins to get to any part of San Francisco! Only downer to the Deluxe Queen rooms are the lack of storage space… but the rooms were quite space to house 2 persons.
Every attendant was very nice and friendly. Will definitely book with Hotel Stratford should I find myself visiting SF again.
Thank you to all the staff for making our stay smooth and relaxing!

The room was clean and the check-in process was smooth. It is one of the few hotels in San Francisco that allows check-in at any time (not after 3 o'clock).
Even in May, there is heating when it is cold.
The second time I stayed in the hotel, I was reminded to ask for a quiet room. It was very quiet. Even though the view was sacrificed, the room was very quiet.
The only drawback is that the hotel elevator is too slow, but it is not a big problem.

This is my 1st stay after this hotel renovated , I like the location and hotel cleanest. Room size was just nice and comfort. Pls take note the uber/ taxi can’t stop Infront of the hotel, u need to walk a little distance to the junction and take the ride.

Modern designed hotel. Clean and simple. Minimal/no amenities. Central location bear Union Square, shops, cable cars and the BaRT rail system.
