Great location next to Fisherman's Warf (which is next to the Ghirardelli square and the trolley stop and the piers and several food places). Overnight parking is available for a fee and their valet service was pretty quick. The room was large and comfortable. I didn't try the restaurant or bar, so no comments about them; it did look nice and was full of people one of the nights. No homeless people were around the hotel but when you get a couple blocks away you have to deal with that.

This hotel is right next to Fisherman's Wharf, 200 meters to the beach. The view of the Golden Gate Bridge and the sea from the bay view room is very good. There are many restaurants around, and the hotel's own Blue Mermaid restaurant serves good food. The hotel has its own parking lot The staff at the hotel are very friendly and the service is good. You can’t get more convenient for Fisherman’s wharf and all that it offers and the hotel provides a good base for exploring all that San Francisco has to offer. Next door to cable car stop and a short walk to the Presidio. Decent size rooms which are well appointed and containing most of the facilities needed (albeit the rooms are a little long and thin rather than square). Helpful reception team with complimentary water & coffee and a concierge desk for arranging excursions etc. Attached blue mermaid restaurant was OK if you want to dine ‘close to home’.
