Staying at this hotel is quite an experience, don't do it during the rainy season, between this and last year I have stayed about 4 times to disconnect. The photos are not updated, it needs a lot of maintenance but it is a great experience, before the kitchen staff was HORRIBLE, but on this occasion it was very pleasant. I want to give an HONORABLE mention to the super manager SAM, my deepest respect for this young woman who clearly has her shirt on well and stands up for everything bad, even if it comes out of her hands. She is a worker ant, you will see her everywhere doing everything and an excellent human being, only because of her we have returned, I think this place is a wasted talent.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!! This place has potential but the service is terrible. Also, their palapa rooms have not been maintained so when it rains (every night) the roofs leak. They're not very well protected from outdoor critters either. We found bugs (spiders and roaches) in our bed! On our last night, there was a super intense storm and we lost power during the night. The power wasn't back on yet when we left in the morning. The storm caused horrible roof leaks in both the rooms we had (paid extra for the nicer ones). It was so bad that the beds were soaking wet! Both rooms basically had indoor waterfalls! We have video of it but I wasn't able to upload it here plus it was pitch dark so it's not very good. There are no employees on the property after 6:00pm or before 10:00am. We didn't like that there was no one to call when we encountered problems. I called the office after we left and expressed our disappointments and issues but it was a receptionist. I requested for someone to call me but I never received any response. If you stay here, be aware they lock down the property after all staffing leave at 6:00pm. We went to town and came back around 9:00pm and couldn't get back in!! We finally found a hidden opening in the back of the parking lot to get in (in the pitch dark - and it is EXTREMELY DARK at nigh). They said they forgot to tell us about that! HORRIBLE customer service!! DO NOT STAY HERE! IT IS NOT WORTH THE PRICE THEY CHARGE! Note: There is no A/C but we knew that going in. It was EXTREMELY hot, especially at night.

I do not recommend this hotel at all, they have it in terrible condition, the common areas are very dirty and neglected, the bathrooms in the restaurant area are mega dirty and without supplies, the nights with the flies were a nightmare, their mosquito nets were all broken and in poor condition, The bathroom in the bedroom didn't work either and they didn't give you the necessary attention to solve it. I am attaching a photo of how my baby was left with the mosquitoes. Quite expensive for the little they offer. I don't recommend it at all, absolutely nothing to do with its photos, the pool is ice and quite dirty.

While visiting friends who were staying at the hotel, I was instantly disturbed when I noticed large foul smelling puddles everywhere in the street to the side of the property where I parked. My friends also noticed this. Overall, they were really disappointed with their stay, but I will let them complete the details with their own review. I asked some people in town about the puddles that never dried out even though there was no rain at all during our time in San Pancho. They told me that the hotel has a really bad sewage problem. Hopefully, unsuspecting guests and the town doesn't continue to suffer from the hotels negligence to deal with its sewage system in a way that doesn't mean sewage overflowing into the street.

Costumer service is poorly. They don’t make you feel welcome. The recruitment is not at the standards of their hotel rates. They should hired professional that know the field instead of hiring cheap labor.

If you’re looking for the perfect blend of sustainability in mind Maraica hotel is it! We LOVED our stay here, it’s the ultimate oasis for those looking to escape touristic crowds. A unique hideaway next to the beach. The rooms are spacious and airy with sounds of the ocean. the terrace area and restaurant outside is ideal for working remotely, hosting group events, retreat etc. .. at night it’s lit with fairy lights. Highly recommend dining at the restaurant too! Their farm to table dishes are so tasty and nutritious. I would 100% recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality, conscious stay in San Pancho.

Super recomendable!!! La cama era enorme y muy cómoda. Desde nuestro balcón se veía el mar y eso nos encantó!! En el balcón había una pequeña mesa con dos sillas y una hamaca, lo que nos permitió almorzar allí y eso lo disfrutamos mucho. La pileta estaba a una temperatura perfecta, pasamos casi toda la tarde allí.

Hôtel de charme proche de la plage mais qui nécessiterait des améliorations : eau chaude presque inexistante, propreté moyenne, serviettes de toilette médiocre. En janvier, beaucoup de bruits à cause de travaux en cours près de l’hôtel.
