The location of the hotel is right in the center of San Diego, the staff is very friendly. They kept our suitcases for us on the day of checkout until the evening. The hotel has a terrace with a 270° view of downtown San Diego, you can see the sunset and the planes landing at the airport. There is a coffee maker so you can have the coffee you want. location was decent and hotel staff was friendly. elevator was interesting at first but after a day or so having to open the heavy gate was a pain. rooms were basic and a little noisy.

We booked a regular king room. It was EXTREMELY dusty and felt stuffy/unclean. We immediately asked for a new room and told them what was going on. The front desk was really understanding about it and gave us an upgraded room for no additional charge which was much better. The staff is amazing, I wish I remember the name of the guy who helped us. And it is extremely close and walking distance to all the restaurants, mid gaslamp. However, I just didn’t enjoy the hotel itself overall.
