Great atmosphere, surprisingly clean for a hostel. Perfect location: on the beach, and most importantly: very kind staff and guests. Every evening program like spaghetti night, bonfire night. Morning pancakes. What else can you with for in a hostel, Traveller?

I stayed at this hostel with a friend, and it quickly became one of our favorite places during our California trip. The hostel organizes daily activities, which makes it super easy to meet people. If you’re into partying, this is definitely the right place for you, with events like beer pong and rage cage happening regularly. One of the best surprises was the free evening meals they often offered. The food was not only free but also genuinely delicious, far beyond what you’d normally expect from a hostel. The staff were a big part of what made our stay so special. We felt really welcomed and connected instantly, especially with Mo, Tae and Taurice. Thanks to them and the atmosphere, real friendships were formed during our time there. The location is another highlight, as the hostel is located right on the beach. We loved it so much that we ended up coming back three times during our 2.5-week stay in California. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a social, fun and beachside hostel experience.

This is a hostel, so if you want 4 stars go somewhere else. The property could use quite a bit of TLC, but the linens and rooms were clean. The staff were awesome and the overall vibe of the hostel was exactly what I hoped and more. The staff do fun nights and simple meals. Overall I really enjoyed my stay.

This hostel is right next to the beach. It has cozy common areas and friendly staff. Lot's of activities almost every day.

Constant parties every night, many involving the staff and guests using ***** and drinking heavily. Frequent fights and patrons leaving for safety. Equipment is all in a sad state, with surf Equipment missing peices and wet suits with large rips in them. Bunk beds are cheap and creaky and not anchored to the floor or wall. It fell as if entropy has been at work here for some time. I do not recommend if you acctually want sleep
