As a two-star hotel, the interior environment is actually good, but the location is not very convenient if you don't drive. It is far from everywhere except Mexico City.

Hotel was quaint and quiet but also in need of a lot of upgrades. There was no outlet available where they had the microwave so I had to move it myself into the bathroom area to use it. At check-in I was told check-out time was noon but housekeeping was banging on the door at 11:30, telling me check-out was at 11 and very rude about it.

Stayed 5 nights. Reasonably priced, good location, clean and comfortable. Check-in and check-out were both quick and easy. We parked in the garage (a little tight when there are multiple vehicles) which cost an extra $15/ night. The breakfast was limited and carb heavy: waffles (cooked for you), bread for toast, small muffins, oatmeal, cold cereal, juice and coffee... but the patio was a pleasant place to eat it. You can faintly hear the national anthem being played at 8 AM on the navy base ( I assumed, but could be the marine corps recruit depot).

Pleasantly surprised , nice and quiet, no complaints whatsoever, I will definitely stay here again. Hotel is walkable distance from Trolley station, also walkable to Old Town, room rates reasonable, even had a continental breakfast

It's a good hotel, very well located and with everything you need to be comfortable during your stay. Consider breakfast an extra. The only bad thing is that they don't have water fountains. They said they would return the deposit in 4 days. I'll be waiting. Overall, a good experience.

Very clean and the price was right. Only problem was the shower was to slick, it needs a floor mat in the shower. Very quiet and the breakfast was satisfactory. I would definitely stay here again. Easy access to the 5 Freeway northbound, Currently remodeling some areas.
