I booked this hotel through a Southwest Airlines package deal. When I got to the hotel at 5:15 on Friday 2/18/22, I found out why they don't have a desk clerk on site after dark. It is apparent that this place used to be a "half way house" for alcoholics and ex-cons as they try to get their lives together. I'm pretty sure a couple of the people that I talked to as I was trying to find my "room" are permanent residents at the "hotel". Although the website says it is in the Little Italy area, the actual location is in a really nasty part of the neighborhood. The "hotel" is in the flight path to the airport, and gets a lot of noise from the Hwy 5 freeway and a trolley line. No hotel parking, you have to park on the streets next to homeless tents. I reviewed the confirmation email that Found sent via Southwest when I booked, and Found didn't say anything about sharing a tiny "room" and bunk bed until they texted me when I checked in. And so I had to try to find another hotel on a Friday night of a long holiday weekend in San Diego. Some other guests that I talked to while trying to check in said they had private rooms to themselves but they had to share bathroom and showers. I phoned the only number for the hotel, left a message I was cancelling. I hope that Found "hotel" will give me a refund, because there was no advance notice about the "room" they were going to put me in. I am not going to spend a night sharing a bunk bed and a bathroom with a stranger.

I booked this hotel through a Southwest Airlines package deal. When I got to the hotel at 5:15 on Friday 2/18/22 I found out why they don't have a desk clerk on site after dark. This place is the absolute worst hotel in San Diego. It is apparent that it used to be a "half way house" for alcoholics and ex-cons to stay as they try to get their lives together. I will admit that I didn't read the fine print on my reservation, but they booked me into a tiny "room" sharing a bunk bed and a bathroom with a guy that I'm pretty sure lives there full time. Some other guests that I talked to while trying to "check in" said they had private rooms to themselves but they had to share bathroom and showers. If you're a twenty year old German kid hitchhiking around the USA this might be an acceptable "hotel" but for most of the rest of us, it is absurd. I phoned the only number for the hotel, left a message I was cancelling, and booked a Best Western. I doubt that this Found "hotel" will give me a refund, but I am not going to spend a night sharing a bunk bed and a bathroom with a stranger..

We stayed one night to be close to the airport for our early morning flight, less than a 5 min drive to the airport. Our private room/bathroom was very clean and spacious! We never heard a peep from our neighbors. Honestly, I was a little hesitant when booking, but my expectations were blown away! Would definitely stay again! Also being in Little Italy, there's lots of yummy restaurants within 5-10 min walk.

DO NOT BOOK!!! I had my 10 year old with me. Worst experience ever we stayed in that room about 20 minutes and we gathered our belongings and left. It’s is so creepy and eerie and a chiiling feeling. It is not as described on the website it is a dumpy motel. There’s no Customer Service at all whatsoever as if it is abandoned. When I arrive, the hotel lobby was locked nobody could get in there was no Customer Service there was people waiting outside. Try to check if there was a delivery guy outside trying to get in to deliver so it was a small crowd of people outside. It was weird. The guy finally came, and he looked high. I just handed me a key ask me for no information. The hotel lobby when we got smelled like straight up ****. It’s a very uncomfortable, feeling uncomfortable atmosphere. The furniture is dirty old and stained. It looks like it came out of somebody’s grandma’s grandma’s grandma’s garage. Nobody answers the phone. Everything is old and rundown and looks nothing like the pictures. And who knows what they’re doing in there because that feeling is so beyond spooky. You couldn’t pay me to stay there. I took my daughter and left.

The location is convenient but the hotel is very neglected. The pictures shown online are completely the opposite to reality. The room was not clean, the blinds were broken, there weren't blankets, there wasn't even soap in the bathroom. Even though we gave an advanced notice about us checking in past 9pm, we struggled to contact the concierge by telephone or text message to enter our room. I have no doubt that the place was gorgeous in its glory days, but nowadays the builing is old, everything crooks, strange people comes in and out and is poorly cleaned. It was a shame to enter our room and see it in this conditions. Even if you are looking for a place to crash at night, it is a risky option.

Old building, smells bad, and room was dirty. Area is surrounded by homeless and trash. Noisy at night due to traffic from freeway which is across the street. Missing some room ammenities. Not worth it, you get what you pay for. Not recommended.

If only 0 were an option. The photos do not match the inside of the hotel. I asked for an extra pillow on day one of three, and never got more pillow. The room was dirty and the bathroom disgustingly dirty- black mold on the shower, rusting, the handle on the shower was broken, the floor was dirty. There was no changing of sheets or cleaning on room during the stay. The walls are like paper so you can hear other rooms. It is not clear who works there and the front desk wasn't open at all during our stay. Creepy and gross the whole way through, and definite misrepresentation in their branding.

This place is not just old, it is very deteriorated and smells like urine, it's filthy and very poorly managed. it has no parking and you can hear every single street noise out there, beds are very uncomfortable, no TV remote, no AC remote (not that it actually works) the room was unbelievably bad I didn't even use the bed sheets. seriously this was one of those nightmare hotels. I can go on and on about all the bad things about this place but like they say, "you get what you pay for" but for this matter, I overpaid for a horrible stay, I'm glad it's over and it was only one night.

If only zero stars were an option. This place is absolutely disgusting. Our room was filthy. There were no employees to help (besides teenagers who stared blankly when we told the how dirty our room was) - thick layers of dust on everything - yellow pillowcases (that were once white) - cereal on the floor - a joint in the drawer - warped walls everywhere - no screen or lock on window - nasty smell - key cards that they warned are easy to deactivate - no staff on site to help w anything This place is a hell hole, stay at your own risk. We paid over $500 for three nights - but I’ve stayed at nicer hostels in 3rd world counties for $10/night.
