Absolutely charming. The room was just as advertised, and it was wonderful. Great staff, made the whole experience incredibly easy and relaxing. Perfect location. One minute walk to the beach, (even with two little girls), and a slew of restaurants within the area, as well as the boardwalk park. if you want to use your car, you can get to the San Diego zoo, and SeaWorld within minutes. It was certainly worth every penny, and we will be back!!!

Just returned from a great stay with a family of 5. The 2 bedroom king room was perfect for a family of 5. The room was clean and spacious. The beds were so comfortable. There was a nice common area where we spent lots of time. I only wish it had some kind of fire feature. The location of this hotel is amazing. So close to the bay or the beach. We loved the free rentals. There is so much to choose from. I wish we had time to do more. We took advantage of the chairs and umbrella. There are so many great restaurants in the area. The diversity of food was amazing. There is also a Ralph's close by. It was nice to have a refrigerator for drinks, snacks, and leftovers. The parking in the area was a nightmare. Be sure to reserve a space. I was so glad that I did. Finally the staff was amazing. Julia, at the front desk, was on top of everything. They were quick to respond to any of our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

The room was amazing. Very clean and comfortable. The retro design was awesome. Location was everything. I definitely recommend this hotel to anyone and everyone. Can't wait to go back.

I have been coming to Mission Beach for over 50 years staying at different places. I do highly recommend The Boardwalk newly renovated staff and management are extremely helpful and polite considerate very quiet and parking is right up front a big plus we had a private Jacuzzi.

Very glad we gave the Boardwalk a chance! It was super cute and modern, and although small and cozy didn’t feel cramped. I loved the private patio space, and the service was amazing and quick. The rooms were clean and had a lot of amenities and it was a super close walk to the beach and a ton of our favorite shops and restaurants just steps away. HUGE shout out to Julia who made our trip amazing, and took great care of us. She went above and beyond to help us and without her help the trip would not have been as great as it was. *MAKE SURE TO RESERVE A PARKING SPOT ASAP BEFORE ARRIVAL*

The room was updated and clean. We enjoyed the rental amenities and the walk to the beach was easy. I would have liked to have a beach towel or blanket option available.

This little chic hotel was so cute and cozy!! exactly what the pictures show but still somehow even better in person! me and my boyfriend really enjoyed our stay and we were only a 3 min walk from the beach which was our whole goal. everything was kept clean and neat and would 100% come stay again! 10/10 recommend the boardwalk hotel!

The room was super cute and clean. I loved the retro meets new vibe going on. There is a little walk way leading to a few of the rooms and gives it a very secluded feel. The kitchen appliances were almost a Tiffany blue/green and the fan, AC, and toilet had remotes lol The only negative is the parking situation. They have very few dedicated spots and the area is hard to find overnight parking. Not the hotels fault however, just a problem in the entire area.
