The hotel boasts a stunning location and impressive design, but unfortunately, this was overshadowed by some of the worst service we’ve ever experienced in a hotel of this category. On day one, we arrived for breakfast at 8 a.m. as the first (and only) guests, yet it took 45 minutes to serve a basic avocado toast. No apology, no explanation – just an arrogant glare when we finally had to insist. We had to rush out to keep our scheduled visit. On day two, despite breakfast being advertised as starting at 7 a.m., no staff were present. We were told they only begin serving from 8 a.m., far too late for travelers heading out early. We checked out without breakfast, even though it was included in the price. The worst part, however, was the complete lack of trust shown towards guests. A security deposit of 1,500 pesos is required upon check-in – something we rarely see at hotels in this price range. And to top it off, at check-out the receptionist personally inspected our room before we were allowed to leave. This felt offensive and deeply impolite – as if we were not guests, but suspects. Throughout our stay, we never felt welcome. In fact, we felt uncomfortable and unwanted. It’s deeply disappointing to see such a beautiful property managed with such hostile, unprofessional behavior. A place with great potential, wasted by a complete absence of hospitality.
