The resort is in a beautiful area, all of the surroundings are stunning. The room itself was ok, nothing special like you would expect for the price. The bed was very hard and not comfortable. The room had no AC which was extremely disappointing because we specifically searched for a room with AC and it was advertised that it had one The morning staff was very gracious and helpful, the lady working later in the day was not however and when we needed help or suggestions for the area she did not seem to care The restaurant is set in a beautiful setting and the food was good, not great, but good It’s not a terrible place, but for the money could do much better

The sunset in the hotel is very shocking. The place is a bit hard to find. On a small mountain road, drive next to the gas station, go up the mountain, and then you will see the beautiful sunset. Parking is very convenient, dinner is good, not expensive, almost like Venice, two people eat about sixty euros The hotel is very clean, there are slippers inside, European hotels are very rare, the waiter also helps with luggage The breakfast is particularly good, with a variety of local Tuscan fruits and lots of coffee.

Wow! We spent 5 days at this amazing place. All the staff are genuinely so friendly and make you feel so welcome and at ease from the moment you arrive. The views are beautiful and you really are blown away but the fabulous setting. We were warmly welcomed by Francesco who showed us to our room. We stayed in a superior room (4) this was a lovely room, with a nice bathroom. There is good aircon and a mini bar. (The room is made up daily) We headed straight to the terrace and had a few drinks and soaked up the Tuscan sun and view. The views really are great! The pool is a great size and you can enjoy the peace and quiet there. The restaurant!!! 5 star food and 5 star service. The chefs will cook truly lovely food with fresh local produce to a really high standard. Every meal we had was gorgeous. Now, the true gem of this place for us was Claudia, she looked after us each night and made our stay extra special with her warmth and kindness. She is amazing!!! And she introduced me to Grappa thank you Claudia. Breakfast, fab! Looked after so well by the lovely lady who makes the best coffee! Amazing view from the terrace if the weather allows. Honestly I cannot fault the Poggio Borgoni at all. We were looked after so well and made to feel at ease and welcome. The food and wine is brilliant and service is great. We will be back. We are so grateful to everyone at the Poggio for an amazing stay. Thank you.

Very good view of the hotel, overlooking the Tuscan landscape in the distance, the room is very large, retro, breakfast is also very rich, in addition to the distance from the city center, suitable for visitors who want to stay for a few more days, the hotel has a parking place, It is the boss's own old manor, very old sense!
