The resort met all our expectations. The service was exceptional and very personable. They always remembered us and wished us a happy anniversary in the restaurants and the spa. We will definitely return in the future.

Absolute perfection from the moment we arrived to our tearful goodbye! This is a once in a lifetime spot. We could not have done it all if we had been there for a month! The rooms, facilities and grounds are immaculate, grand and luxurious. The staff is outstanding- especially our dear Orlando who became our friend and guide and appeared wherever we turned! We will miss you, Orlando! Fabulous food, great gym, free laundry on site which you will need after you rappel waterfalls and trek through rainforests. The hot springs are heaven. Don’t miss this special slice of heaven on earth.

This place is amazing! I don’t write review much but best resort and staff- they showed us sloths and told us where toucans and monkeys were - Eli and Tony are great ambassadors of the resort and the grounds are beautiful with amazing views! Highly recommend!!!

The resort itself is beautiful but the cost for what you get is not in line. This should be an all inclusive as the food is mediocre and very costly. and the rooms are standard. The elevator did not work at all and we were told it had been out for many months...that was not disclosed and unacceptable for a resort this expensive. We had children and 83 year old and it was difficult getting from the rooms to anywhere in the resort as it is all uphill and many stairs. So if you are not in good shape to go up many flights I would not go here. We would not have booked here had we known there was that many stairs and no working elevator. Im not in terrible shape but had a hard time getting up their stairs myself. Shower also fluctuated in temperature...they didnt see a problem and thought luke warm showers were acceptable.

Amazing service and amenities. Loved our time here. All the staff was outgoing and friendly. Club Rio was amazing with all the activities. Kids had a blast and were able to roam the resort safely. Highly recommend for a family vacation. Did not disappoint and our room was beautiful.
