We had the best day with Rueben and his wife and guide Miguel. This is a must go place if your want something unique. A completely authentic experience and tailor made to our requests. We started our day with his wife cooking the most delicious breakfast and coffee. We were then supplied with good quality rubber boots (it was raining hard!) and ponchos. We then set off down the river San Carlos. We were told lots of history and information. We saw numerous iguanas, beautiful birds and very large crocodiles! We then enjoyed a hike around 6km through fields and jungle stopping for fresh fruit halfway. The weather was not on our side but did not hinder our fun and enjoyment. We then had another trip back along the river and visited the most beauty Ceiba tree. We then had a wonderful fish lunch and fresh juice. We were never rushed and felt looked after so well. This is a young business and I would urge anyone to book with Rueben this was by far the best trip we did in Costa Rica in the two weeks we were there. It’s off the main tourist trail so great fun. Visit this magical place. Thanks to Rueben and his crew
