Après 30kms de piste, on arrive dans un petit hôtel fait de bungalows en pleine nature. Grande chambre , belle salle de restaurant avec végétation tout autour qui permet de voir singes hurleurs , iguanes, et nombreux oiseaux. Bons repas. Le propriétaire Marco est très gentil et aux petits soins pour les vacanciers. Des bananes sont posées tous les matins sur des perchoirs. Le tour en bateau jusqu’à la frontière du Nicaragua avec Hugo était super ainsi que la randonnée de nuit pour voir les grenouilles

Si vous aimez la nature et les animaux, Boca tapada est le lieu qu'il vous faut. Sinon, passez votre chemin ! Le lieu dans lequel se trouve l'hôtel est paradisiaque et l'accueil par le propriétaire des lieux est très chaleureux. L'hôtel propose des activités telles que du kayak ou du bateau sur le Rio san Carlos, des tours dans la forêts tropicales, une sortie matinale pour voir les oiseaux et une sortie nocturne pour voir les grenouilles. Nous avons fait 2 sorties avec notre guide (bird watching tour et boat tour). Dans un mélange de français, anglais et espagnols , il nous a partagé toutes les richesses du monde animal et végétal de la région (aras rouge et autres oiseaux, caïmans, iguanes...). Ce fut extraordinaire. Nous conseillons. Pura vida!

Belle expérience au milieu de la nature qui se mérite après presque 20 kms de piste , à la limite avec le Nicaragua. Avons pu profiter de bungalow rustique mais confortable avec vue sur la rivière. Personnel très amiable , cuisine sans fioritures mais très bonne, Marco se débrouille très bien. Le restaurant est situé au milieu des arbres et permet de profiter du wifi mais surtout de la faune : colibris, oiseaux en tout genre, écureuils et singes hurleurs. Encore merci a Ugo, notre guide à chaque sortie : sur le fleuve, dans la rain forest et de nuit , nous a donné de nombreuses explications et permis de voir de nombreux animaux.
