Dit is het beste hotel wat ons in Costa Rica is overkomen! Wat een bijzondere locatie en wat een super mooie kamers. Zeer kundig en vriendelijk personeel. Leuke, leerzame tours die je er kunt maken, met een bootje naar de grens van Nicaragua of heerlijk afkoelen in hun eigen waterpoel. En ook het eten is van topkwaliteit. Het enige wat vervelend was, is het afscheid om hier weg te gaan…

A very nice surprise at the end of our trip. Unfortunately only booked one night, because we travel to the coast tomorrow. Beautiful (new?) bungalow near the reception with a great view. Many different types of birds, friendly and helpful staff and great food. Also try the local beer!

Très bel endroit entouré d'oiseaux plus colorés les uns que les autres. La chambre (au bord de la rivière) a la clim ce qui n'est pas négligeable. Le guide de l'hôtel Christian est juste incroyable ! La nourriture bonne mais si on y passe plusieurs jours on tourne vite en rond avec les 3 ou 4 menus proposés. On a quand même passé un magnifique séjour en famille, loin de la ville et de ma civilisation. C'était très agréable.

Sehr freundliches Personal. Das Zimmer war schön mit einem schönen Blick auf dem Fluss. die Außen Dusche war sehr schön, das Wasser war nur lauwarm. Der WLAN Anschluss war mittelmäßig. Man muss gut zu Fuß sein, da der Weg vom Zimmer zum Restaurant beziehungsweise Rezeption ziemlich steinig und steil ist, für uns kein Problem.
Wir haben eine angebotene Bootsfahrt mitgemacht, die sehr angenehm und informativ war. Kann man sehr empfehlen. Wir haben viele Tiere gesehen.

In dieser Lodge haben wir uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Die Umgebung ist naturbelassen und man wohnt quasi direkt am Waldrand zum Fluss. Die Häuser sind einfach schön und die Aussicht unschlagbar.
Das Personal ist außerordentlich gastfreundlich gewesen. Aufgrund einer Flugverspätung und einer Straßensperre kamen wir quasi Nachts an. Unsere Sorge war nicht mehr einchecken zu können, aber wir wurden schon am Telefon beruhigt. Endlich angekommen gab es sogar noch ein Abendessen, worüber wir nach dem Tag sehr glücklich waren.
Über all den tollen Service hinaus, hat man uns auch noch mit unserem verlorenen Gepäck geholfen.
Ein toller Platz
Alles in alles einfach nur zu empfehlen.

Wir waren in einem der neuen Bungalows. Hier fehlt es an nichts. Man hat einen privaten Balkon und eine Open Air-Regenwalddusche. Am ersten Tag haben wir den Besitzer kennengelernt, der die Lodge mit ganzem Herzen betreibt. Alle Angestellten sind sehr nett und Hilfsbereit. Das Essen ist großartig und wir können die Kayaktour sowie die Nachtwanderung im Hauseigenen Reservat nur wärmstens empfehlen.
