El Casco Art Hotel Reviews

This is a delightful hotel a few miles outside of Bariloche. We used a taxi and it cost about £10 to get back from the town. It is set on the lake with beautiful views. The room was very comfortable with a terrace . The hotel is full of art and was quite quiet , it didn’t feel crowded. Lovely pool area and we enjoyed an afternoon sat by the pool over looking the lake. If you don’t want to eat an evening meal in the hotel there are a few restaurants within a short walking distance from the hotel . Would certainly recommend particularly if you want somewhere a little more special than the central Bariloche hotels .

I stayed one night and found the facilities and staff to be extraordinary. I needed to leave early for a flight and they made me coffee and a small takeaway package since I could not stay for breakfast. The grounds are lovely and I had the best trout dinner in their on-site restaurant.

Decent hotel, which could be improved with a little better maintenance. Our room was large and had a great bathroom and view of the lake. There is lots of original art scattered throughout the hotel, which makes for a nice visual experience. The breakfast was very good and we also enjoyed several dinners at the hotel restaurant. The restaurant servers were all smile, helpful and eager to please. We loved all of them. The hotel gym and spa were okay, nothing special. Front desk was efficient, nothing more. The only negative is the lack of maintenance of the facilities. The hallway carpet outside our room was disgusting with bleach and other stains. I noticed several places where wood moulding was missing or hanging on the wall for dear life. The gym was dirty with lots of dust and cobwebs. Give me a week and I could easily fix all these problems. Overall, I recommend this hotel, but would highly recommend with better maintenance.

Delightful boutique hotel outside of the city of Bariloche. There is beautiful art work all through the public areas, rooms and the gardens. Breakfast was a buffet which was plentiful. We had a nice large room and were very comfortable. Wish it had been a bit warmer so we could have used the pool.

This is a fabulous boutique hotel located right on the lake, each room has a beautiful unobstructed view. It's located about 20 minutes from the downtown, so the hotel provides the combination of a peaceful area but easily accessibility to the town, restaurants and shopping. There's parking if you have a car, but it's easy to get around by taxi/remise. The rooms are quite large and the bed was extremely comfortable, the mattress was firm but not hard. Lots of drawers and hanging space for clothes. And I believe each room has a private terrace or patio, we had a patio with lounge chairs and a small table. The property is gorgeous, and it really is an art hotel. Beautiful paintings and sculptures throughout the building and on the grounds. Large windows facing the lake in the lounge and in the dining room. Breakfasts are ample, with items on a buffet as well as cooked to order selections like omelets and crepes included. We ate dinner at the hotel 3 times because the food was so good. Staff is also helpful and friendly; because there are a limited number of guests the staff gets to know one very quickly. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic stay at the El Casco Art Hotel. First, it's an attractive hotel. Our room was large, well furnished and decorated with artwork. The bathroom was also large with separate shower and bathtub. Our room had a balcony with a view of the lake. The service in the hotel was exceptional. The people working at the reception provided helpful advice on what to see and do in the area. A very good breakfast was provided which included both a buffet and menu from which you could order items such as a fruit plate or crepes. I would definitely return to this hotel

The hotel is beautiful. I recommend the room with a balcony as it has views of Lake Nahuel. The food is delicious. The staff is very friendly. The cleaning is excellent. The only thing we didn't like was that we booked the hotel to take advantage of the spa when we checked in. The jacuzzi didn't work, the pool was covered, we had to ask for it to be opened and the sauna to be turned on & wait about 30 minutes to use it. It's not a big deal, but it changed our plans. I still recommend it & would totally go back.

10/10. It was a wonderful stay, I don't know where to start. The hotel, the location, the view, all impeccable. The hotel staff is super warm, has beautiful energy and makes you feel at home. I spent my birthday there, and they surprised me with a cake! Thank you ! ♥️ Breakfast, excellent. Nothing to complain about. The restaurant's menu too. All very good and of superior quality. I would return, without a doubt. I recommend it, if the idea is to spend a few days relaxing, in a unique place in Bariloche!

Perfect hotel, forgiving attention. It is a very well maintained old hotel. Spacious rooms. Very comfortable beds. One of the best views of the Lake. Everything is perfect. It has a very good breakfast. The restaurant complies and has the option of having lunch or dinner in a living room facing the lake. I would always return.

Excellent hotel! All perfect, highly recommended. We went with our 2 year old daughter. The hotel facilities are spectacular. Very good restaurant service. The rooms have a stunning view. The hotel also has a heated pool, gym and many other things. Everything is very well maintained and cleanliness is excellent.

Excellent hotel, perfect service, wonderful location, luxurious but simple rooms, very complete breakfast, unparalleled view but fundamentally art and more art: in the rooms, in the lounges and in the gardens. Not to be missed!

The restaurant is very good The staff is very good and attentive Much to improve: The breakfast is poor and with dried smoked foods, cheeses taken from the refrigerator) Lack of maintenance (in rooms, pool and jacuzzi areas) and outdoor areas The reception is not up to date height there are only two people who do the administrative work and they must also attend to the passenger, totally insufficient. The lack of a committed “owner” is noticeable

Excellent location on the lake, facing East, with full morning sun, the rooms are very spacious, elegant, comfortable, very isolated from noise and with spacious bathrooms. The entire hotel, including the exterior (park, beach, pier, pool) is extremely quiet despite being on the side of Bustillo Avenue, which is very busy. The attention is cordial and adequate. The breakfast is out of keeping with the category of the hotel: it is poor and of medium quality.

Beautiful hotel, spacious and comfortable rooms, daily cleaning and very friendly staff. You can see the sunrise from the room with a beautiful view of the mountain range. Quiet place and with everything you need for a beautiful stay. It is 10 km from the city so it is best to go by car, in any case there are services and restaurants that can be accessed by walking. highly recommended.
