I really enjoyed my 2 nights here at this lovely resort. It's a big place with 2 pools and many activities like billiards, table tennis, darts, a playground, a mediocre beach, and a mini zoo and some monkeys. The staff were all friendly and helpful too. Wifi was good and it's easy to get to from the pier on a trike. Food and the room is a little pricey I thought but worth it.

Despite booking early, we didn't get the bungalow we had ordered and already paid for. We were given a simple room. As compensation, the manager wanted to fob us off with a few peo. Dang Agoda didn't work out. We have booked at this resort for years, many days, and also spent a lot of money in the restaurant etc. Very disappointing when friends who have arrived unexpectedly are chosen over us. We were definitely there for the last time and would like to warn others with this review. Booking and paying does not mean that you get what you ordered and paid for.

We booked a bungalow for 2 1/2 and 1 week (2 dates) 4 months in advance. When we arrived the bungalows were occupied. We had to move to the small rooms. The bungalows were subsequently reserved for colleagues of the manager, which is why our booking was canceled without our knowledge. We were promised that we could have 2 rooms for the price of 1 bungalow. We used this for 6 days, after which we still had a room. When we asked at the end for the difference to be refunded, the manager had no time left and we were fobbed off with PHP 500 per day instead of PHP 3000. Thanks to Agoda, we subsequently got the difference back. We were very disappointed as we have been booking rooms and bungalows there since the beginning of Whispering Palms as our family also lives on the island. Unfortunately, we will never visit Whipering Palms again. I still hope that I can meet the owner, Detlef, again - he is really a decent and good person, not like his manager, who is also known on the island as a "slave driver".

We stayed there as four people two german and two Filipina. A huge resort and great place to stay and relax. maintaining cleanliness inside the room and outside. There are so many activities to do and enjoy within the resort. They also serve delicious food that we really enjoyed at a very reasonable price. The staff and owner are so accommodating, friendly and respectful. we don't want to leave. 18 days was not enough for us to stay. The place is recommendable to those who want to relax.
