We had read some negative reviews, but we trusted those that, however, defined it as a clean hotel. We book being careful to choose a comfort room, the only ones that have a bidet. We arrive and a girl welcomes us, who seems nice and helpful. We enter the room and immediately realize that it is not the room in the photos online. The bathroom is small, without a window, the shower is a hole, there is a bidet but you cannot use it comfortably because it is positioned to the side of the radiator and under the towel rail. The chrome of the sanitary fixtures shows all the signs of time. No warranty band on the toilet. On the shower head a used plaster, who knows by whom and who knows for how long. The furniture of the room is old and ruined in line with the structure and as expected from the photos, nothing to say. The armchair can only be used by the bravest because it is stained with God knows what. In the evening we go to remove the bedspread finding the sheets stained and with hair. We immediately go down to the reception to explain the situation and the gentleman there apologizes and explains that he is only there to do the night, he gives us the sheets, asking if we could change them because he had to go back to the reception. The next day I ask the girl from the day before, if given the size of the shower and the pitiful conditions of the bathroom, if I could change rooms, but she tells me that they were all occupied and that mine was a comfort room, so the shower was already bigger. In the evening we go back to the room: the towels have been changed, too bad that when opening a bidet towel it was, pardon the expression, ****... Disgusting! I want to think that it wasn't done on purpose to get even for the complaints the night before, but some doubts remain. The breakfast is minimal and not even the best, terrible coffee from an automatic machine. The elevator is small, uncomfortable but functional, except that in the morning it is monopolized by the maids on the floors to move the laundry. Ok the lowest price compared to other facilities in the area (booking directly on their site saves 30%, compared to booking sites) but I think that a minimum of more decorum should be guaranteed. For the rest, very convenient location to access the sea. About 200m walk to reach the free beach or the various bathrooms. Apparently kind and friendly staff. Each room has a balcony with a couple of chairs, convenient for drying costumes and towels. Watch out for the hotel parking, available, but at a price of €16/day. Other parking lots in the area all pay €1/h from 8 to 20 or in any case with a time disc; free parking is very, very rare. In conclusion: below the minimum expectations on the hygiene front also in relation to the money spent. Excellent location.
