We stayed here on a Saturday night and made the reservation that morning. It cost around $320 or $330 for the night. The room was fairly large. There was the main room with 2 double beds and another room (open floor plan) with a sofa bed. The rooms were clean and comfortable. In the morning, they had a nice breakfast with various options. The hotel is fairly close to the Riverwalk and The Alamo. It cost around $10 to Uber to the Riverwalk, and around $15 to return (excluding tip).

Great location for exploring the Riverwalk and other San Antonio sights. The room was clean and spacious and a variety of food items were offered for the complimentary breakfast, including hot food and a waffle maker. It would have been nice if they provided a sheet of parking garages nearby and the rates.No suspect they would rather you pay $40/day for the valet parking and if they told you there was a garage only a few blocks away that only charges $10/day, that would take away from their revenue. I ended up having 3 different bookings and had already paid for one through *******. However, they charged me again for this 5 days. I called the hotel numerous times to get the issue resolved and no one helped me. I was told to calll back the next day, which I did and was told the manager was in a meeting and would call me back. The manager never bothered to call me back. It’s hard to believe that during the course of the day the manager couldn’t take 5 minutes to call me back. I finally called ******* and thankfully , they were able to resolve the issue. The hotel was fine, but I am. It happy at all with the front desk people or the management. Very infuriating to be double charged and no one cared enough to help!

My family and I visited at the beginning of Summer. I wasn’t wowed when we first got there but that quickly changed. Sarah who worked the desk was very knowledgeable on the history of the hotel and very welcoming. The valet was also very eager to help. Now I read in another post that at times they were low staffed and one time it did take us 30 min to get our car, however I also noticed guests telling them they called or came down and asked for car in person. But if you follow their process and go to the like they provide to request your car at least 15-20 in advance their usually isn’t an issue. That 30 min wait? We forgot to request it. The valet team Manuel, Jose and Molly were very helpful during our stay. The breakfast was impressive too as some places have their own fancy restaurant which makes it hard to find something at high price. Gibbs keeps it simple with buffet style eggs, meats, biscuits and gravy, and waffles as well as quick grabs like yogurt. They even add a San Antonio dish, carne guisada with tortillas. Someone mentioned the A/C being too loud. Yes as the air comes on a little loud but quiets down 5 sec later. Didn’t bother me when sleeping. My family and I sleep with house freezing. We were excited to see that this hotel A/C was able to go below 70 degrees unlike many hotels I’ve been. We slept comfortably at 66 degrees. We raised to 70 during the day. The down side for my wife was water pressure in the shower. We would definitely stay again. Such ideal location with view of the Alamo Plaza and Rivercenter Mall just on the other side. It is 15 min from airport. Didn’t think to take picture of the hotel but here is a look at hallway and our view.

We chose this hotel because of the location, easy walk to riverwalk, our favorite spot....just perfect. The staff & valet service were extremely helpful & courteous. The only thing we were not pleased was our room #610. It was not inviting, it seemed damp, was dark, couldn't open shades in the afternoon, too much sun. When we got there the shades were up & the room was very hot, took long to cool the room. In the morning, we enjoy the outside light, though. It just seemed that we were in a very small dull room. Oh, we would have enjoyed a microwave in the room. We just expected a little bit more for the price we paid. But we made the best of it & enjoyed out time there. Thank you for your service in making it comfortable.

Our hotel stay was just okay. Decent location - walking distance to the Alamo and Riverwalk. Ask for an odd numbered room - the even numbers face a nightclub, which is extremely loud late at night (we stayed over a weekend). Our first night there, we had to request a new room at midnight due to the noise, as we couldn't sleep due to the music at the dance club. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful. Breakfast was decent - my kids enjoyed the Texas shaped waffles. The hotel seemed old and somewhat dirty - our room had stains on the walls and bathroom and surfaces were dusty. The hot tub was broken during our stay - my kids had hoped to use it. This hotel seemed to be on the edge of maybe not the safest area of the city but very close to all the big hotels, restaurants and mall on the riverwalk. Next time, I'd choose a different hotel in San Antonio.

Overall a nice property. Great river walk location and lots of on-site food & beverage options. Valet is $50/ night (probably standard rate). I was able to receive a upgraded corner room on a high floor, because of my Hilton member status. Accommodations were okay. Power outlets didn’t work. Fridge wasn’t working properly either. Shower floor had a weird shower matt inside, wasn’t pleasant.
