Super 8 by Wyndham San Antonio Airport North

I recently had a delightful two-night stay at Super 8 By Wyndham. The hotel's clean and well-appointed rooms provided a comfortable retreat, and the friendly staff went above and beyond to make my experience exceptional. The complimentary breakfast was a okay but just there was only one waffle maker machine and the wait time was longer if you don’t want to wait in the long line I recommend to go early morning like 7:30-8:00 AM and it’s better if the management put one or two more machines that way the guest don’t wait long I highly recommend Super 8 for its excellent service and welcoming atmosphere.

It is really Good place to stay with families. I strongly recomend this hotel.

I was impressed with the cleanliness of this hotel. One can tell that great care is taken to assure that the facility is clean and I can add that it sparkles. Check in was fast and efficient and the gentleman who checked me in was friendly and courteous. The room was a bit crowded because of the King bed, but otherwise was very comfortable. The only problem was a leaky shower faucet which was reported.

When we first checked in to room 128 we were immediately met with a very strong stench of must and pet urine. We had just been in the car for 7 hours so we thought we'd try to power through it but after the light didn't work, the remote was missing, the fridge leaking all over(probably the musty smell), and the bathtub faucet constantly dripping while being turned off. So I decided to call the front desk. And what do you know? The phone doesn't work. So I went to the front desk and asked for a different room. The clerk was reluctant to accommodate but ultimately set is up in room 227. So we packed everything up and moved rooms only to be met with an ever so slightly less stench of pet urine. We had an event to get to and didn't have time for another switch to another stinky room. We even bought our own air freshener and sprayed down the room for it to be bearable. It was by far the worst hotel experience I've ever had. I will never stay at this hotel again and likely never a super 8 ever again.

I am totally disappointed in this property! I haven't stayed here in quite a while, and when I stayed before, there were coffee makers in the rooms. They have been removed from the rooms, you have to go to the lobby for coffee; I make TEA in the coffee maker! This property is a little pricey considering the area and because of no coffee makers in the room, this property has been removed from my Wyndham favorites. If having in-room coffee is not important to you, this place might be ok. One other thing, the counter in the bathroom is extremely small, hardly enough space to set out your toothbrush and toothpaste.

The property is very well located near loop1604 or loop 410. We found the property in excellent condition, and a great value.
