Very distinctive hotel! However, the room was wrong. We booked a premium river view double room with a balcony, but found out that the room type we were given was an ordinary superior double room, and the cost was different. I was too lazy to change and didn't look for the front desk again. The room is small but the hotel environment is very good. It is found that the rooms booked by Ctrip are generally not as good as those booked directly by the hotel or other platforms.

Highly recommend staying at the Omni La Mansion! Super Convenient location to many bars and restaurants on the River Walk. Property was extremely clean, rooms modern, updated and well kept. All staff had a customer service driven mindset. Unbeknownst to me patrons staying at La Mansion have access to two pools at both Omni La Mansion and Mokara across from the River Walk Bridge, which was a relief if you wanted a more private pool experience to do some poolside reading or work. The fitness facility is also not located at the Omni La Mansion but at the Mokara property, the additional walk was well worth the extra steps. Spectacular rooftop views, full of natural light, clean facility with a variety of fitness equipment with bottled water and fruit provided. Overall great experience, would book here again!

The entire staycation was so great!!! The staff was so friendly from valet to the front front desk, the gardeners ext. The pillows were Devine, the pool was the best experience my children loved! The staff made every bit of this stay memorable. The room itself was amazing. We will definitely be back.

The front desk person gave me a room that smelled like urine and mold. The "vanity" drawer was broken and looked like it was purchased at a garage sale. The bathroom was so small I could barely turn around. I paid $55 for parking and the guy didn't even offer to help with bags. I had a suitcase, a backpack, a purse, and a Whole Foods bag that had soda in it that broke right in front of three guys standing around talking and no one offered to help. On the very long walk to my room all the way across the parking lot (its a whole different building then check in) it smelled of must and very pungent urine. The elevator smell was so bad I had to cover my nose. There was another couple in there with me who were also grossed out by it. For the cost of the room I would have expected to stay in a similar "Omni" quality room and I would more compare it to a Motel 6. The room was dark and dingy, but in order to open the blinds in the morning I had to allow other people to look right in my room when walking by, which I wasn't comfortable with. I saw other guests offered a "free drink" coupon; I didn't receive one. Overall, the website and advertisements are a fraud. I am embarrassed I suggested this hotel to my co-workers and will never stay here again.

Excellent property, had balcony overlooking the river walk. The pool area was great on the first day we went swimming there was a mariachi band for one hour playing. The room was super comfortable and clean. The hotel sent a dessert plate for our anniversary with a signed card that was wonderful. Outstanding place.

This was our first time staying at this hotel. It conveniently located directly on the river walk in the middle of the action. We had a premium room with a shared balcony on the river walk side. Unfortunately, it was too hot to enjoy the balcony, but it was lovely to see the river shuttles passing by. I’m sure how long our room had been vacant, but it was a little dusty around the TV area. The bathroom was very clean and looked recently renovated. On our first night, we were searching for the ice machine. We saw a staff member, Teodora, by one of the meeting rooms. We asked her where we could get ice. She went above and beyond to assist us with getting some ice. She has great customer service skills and was a delight to meet! I took one star off due to the parking. The valet is very expensive, and we decided to use the garage across the street for $10 per entry. It doesn’t have in and out privileges. But it beats paying $40 per night to valet. Just be careful using the garage across the street. The lanes to enter and exit are very tight along with the parking. I would definitely consider this hotel again if our travels bring us back to San Antonio.

This hotel is an absolute bullseye for travelers that want to experience the River Walk in all its glory. Our private balcony overlooked the river and it was completely worth the price. We could have stayed out there all day and been completely entertained. This hotel sits right in the middle of all the action making it convenient to get to places you want to go (Alamo and others). The staff is exceptional, helpful, and friendly. Our room was very nice, embracing the historical theme of this older property. We will be back, and we won’t even discuss staying somewhere else. Enjoy
