Staybridge Suites San Antonio Downtown Conv Ctr

One of the most comfortable hotel beds that I have ever been on. The rooms were big and clean. All of the staff I encountered were extremely nice. The only small issue was a bathtub that had a severe divit in it that made the tub uneven and unsightly. Other than that, everything was great! I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

I’ll start with the positive as the move to the negative will come swiftly. The staff on site is friendly and the IHG app was easy to use, I searched for, located and booked the room I needed for my family of 4 or so I thought. Now comes the negative. I got a call about half an hour after booking the room that the king suite with sofa bed I had chosen was no longer available. I was offered a single king bed for four of us(we have a travel crib for our toddler), two doubles with a sofa bed or a refund. I mistakenly passed on the refund and chose the two doubles. After arriving there was no place to stop and check in. The parking lot in front was full and a key card is required to enter the rear/basement lots. You have to park in the fire lane to go and check in and get your key card. After getting the keycard I drove through the completely empty rear lot and found parking in the basement lot right away. We went to our room which was very small and dusty, there were no linens for the sofa bed, the doors separating the living area and bedroom don’t close properly, every piece of furniture in the rooms as well as the bathtub are heavily stained. My 5 year old found a vape left behind on the floor by the dresser. The floors smelled like mildew and the soles of my toddlers feet were black with dirt after about 10 minutes of walking around and there were cockroaches. I won’t stay here again and the only reason we didn’t pack our things and leave was because it must be a busy weekend locally as there was nothing available that could accommodate us nearby.

our room was roomy, we had a kitchenette, bed was comfortable and breakfast was good!! would defiantly stay again.
