The trip from start to finish was great! Checking in Vanessa(I think that’s her name not certain) was pleasant and extremely helpful in checking us in, making us feel at home and truly welcomed. On our last night we met Ernest up front who was also an amazing person, and in the few moments we interacted with him he left an amazing impression. The staff as a whole were very welcoming and polite and have definitely swayed me to stay here more often when I’m here for work or events

The housekeeping staff did an excellent job keeping fresh towels and the beds made in my room everyday. The best part of the day was happy hour, although I wish they would extend the time beyond one hour. The wait staff did a great job with the drink service and managed the crowd very well. The bartender was exceptional and had a great sense of humor. Her manager was awesome too, and you could tell that Alex and Alex were true professionals at their job. I would definitely stay here again and strongly recommend this hotel to others!

July in San Antonio is HOT! But, the staff at the Marriott Riverwalk made my stay so cool! I stayed twice in 2 weeks for conferences and I can't imagine a better front desk and restaurant staff. I travel a lot for work, frequently stay at Marriott, and I see a lot of good and bad hotel service but at the Marriott Riverwalk, it is exceptional. I have to call out Janel at the front desk for being amazing and the restaurant servers, Jennifer, Jennifer and David for being incredible! Wish I had more time to write a more extensive review about my stay because they deserve it.

This is the second time we have stayed here. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and clean. The hotel food is really good and you generally get a $15 a day food credit along with 2 tickets for the river boat ride on the riverwalk. The riverwalk itself is fun with lots to see. The Alamo is a super easy walk away, less than 1/4 mile. The staff are all so very nice. Ray Lopez at the bell desk was extremely accommodating and helpful to complete our stay.

The hotel is conveniently located across the street from the conference center, Riverwalk, Aloma and the Rivercenter mall. I enjoyed my stay and the staff were very polite. Lupe, staff member was very helpful on the concierge level with great hospitality and excellent customer service.
