Hyatt white horse ranch Room: Issues Location: Hyatt vacation club wild Oak Ranch Amenities: Good Breakfast: non food choices Employees: Carlos, Mr. Mancini, Jocelyn, Tyler, Randall, Isabel, Nakia, Joseph and Aldo Dislikes: Erin Murphy ( uninformative ), employees, no real restaurant, loud, slamming doors, issues in our room, loud washing machine, loud dishwasher that doesn’t fit in its space. Our jet tub wouldn’t turn off spraying water everywhere. Kitchen cabinet doors, not soft closing and slam loud. Loudest room, Cleaners! Every single door as they went in and out they allowed to slam! Can’t really say that I was impressed with check-in. ERIN that checked us in did the motions and try to get us out of there as soon as possible. I had to ask her where her room was, and that’s when she pulled out a map. The rooms should be in buildings that have the name on them as well as the number, I swear, she said building six, turns out it was building 11 not where she showed me on the map . Also, once we got in our room trying to connect to Wi-Fi there was nothing written down at any of our paperwork, so I had to call the front desk. It should’ve been mentioned to us. She handed us a piece of paper telling us that we were there on a promotional offer. But didn’t verify the time, I had to look at it on the paperwork. Some employees seem to be ill informed. And, not very friendly. Our one bedroom is nice, the bed is OK, amenities in there are pretty good, love the big bathtub. Until we filled it up and turned the Jets on and then the Jets could not turn off water went everywhere. We had to call maintenance to come turn it off from the breaker. Love the large TVs. Couch is not comfortable. And they have very loud, slamming doors, how hard would it be to do something about that very annoying!!! The fridge is too big for the space not all cabinets open. The dishwasher when you open the door to load tilts forward because it was never secured in place cabinets to earth are allowed closing, if you don’t catch them, they slam every time. Pool area, although very busy but we did enjoy it. I love the lazy river although too many people were saving the tubes when they were not using it. I ordered two Virgin Mary’s that means bloody Mary’s with no alcohol and they were over eight dollars each, not happy about that. Pool area was fun and we met some great patrons. Now let’s talk about the restaurant, they’re really non-restaurant. You have this big resort with lots of families and this is what you offer, it’s pathetic. I wouldn’t eat there, even if they gave me free meals. I guess I would have to say this place is good if you have little children which we don’t. We ended up meeting some great people like Carlos, Mr. Mancini and my new found friends. If it wasn’t for them, I would’ve given this place a one star. For us, it was not worth the money that we paid in advance to secure our stay. In other words, the dislikes outweigh the likes. I JUST CAN’T

I recently had a disappointing experience with Hyatt Vacation Club concerning a reservation cancellation and the lack of a promised refund. I booked a stay at the San Antonio Wild Oak Ranch, including a SeaWorld tickets package, for April 6-9. During booking, I was assured by the sales agent that the tickets could be used on any day during my stay. However, I found out that the park was closed on those dates. Since I was traveling internationally, rescheduling was not an option, so I canceled within 24 hours. On April 3, 2025, an agent named Johnatan confirmed that my reservation was canceled and assured me of a refund within 15 business days. To my dismay, I have yet to receive any refund. When I called Hyatt Vacation Club again, I was told the reservation was marked as a no-show, not canceled. This is completely unacceptable and highlights a severe failure in customer service and communication. Additionally, I was advised to send a handwritten letter to resolve the issue, which is ridiculous in 2025. It's absurd that a reservation cancellation cannot be handled over the phone, online, or via email, and requires a handwritten letter. I complied, but I pretty much believe my money has been lost. I urge Hyatt Vacation Club to resolve this issue immediately and provide the refund they promised. This experience has been incredibly disappointing, and I hope they improve their service to prevent similar issues for other customers.
