The room is relatively business-style, clean and tidy, and very quiet at night. The hotel is opposite the city hall, and it is very convenient to get in and out by taxi. The gym on the first floor is small and complete, and there is also a swimming pool. Breakfast is OK.

This was, without a doubt, the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had. The moment I walked in, I was hit with a horrible smell—like a mix of mildew and cheap air freshener trying (and failing) to cover it up. The lobby looked decent in photos, but in reality, it was outdated and dirty. The room was disgusting. Hair on the bed, stains on the carpet, and a bathroom that looked like it hadn’t been properly cleaned in months. The water pressure in the shower was nonexistent, and the towels were so rough they felt like sandpaper. The staff? Completely uninterested in helping. When I complained about the dirty sheets, they acted annoyed and took forever to replace them—only to bring another set that didn’t seem much cleaner. The noise was unbearable. Between loud guests, slamming doors, and constant traffic outside, getting any sleep was impossible. And the bed was so uncomfortable I might as well have slept on the floor. Breakfast was a joke—stale pastries, watery coffee, and food that looked like it had been sitting out for hours. I wouldn’t trust eating anything from there. Do yourself a favor and avoid this place like the plague. It’s not worth a single penny.

От персонала отеля остались самые приятные впечатления. Управляющий отелем дал много полезных советов по городу и любезно предложил бесплатно продлить проживание в номере до моего вечернего поезда. Молодые сотрудники на ресепшене тоже искренне дружелюбные и приятные люди, с кем можно было отлично пообщаться в ожидании поезда. Отелю всего год, поэтому технически он тоже в идеальном состоянии. С удовольствием вернусь сюда вновь

Wellfort hotel is in a calm and peaceful side street in downtown Samarkand. The hotel is brand new - you smell the new furniture when entering the room. Bathroom very modern with floor heating. All the staff was very nice and kind - hotel manager organized us a great excursion to Shahrisabz on our second day. Breakfast is excellent with a variety of hot and cold dishes - the best out of 4 hotels on our Uzbek tour. The only downside was that pool wasn't working due to as they said, cleaning issues. TIP: In order to save money we booked the Budget room. It was double cheaper and I was afraid what we're about to get, as these rooms are often windowless, in a basement and poorly equipped. Here, at Wellfort hotel these rooms are on top 4th floor, but with some height restriction due to the roof. They do have a window and blinding curtain and are equipped just the same as other rooms, so I suggest reserving them to cut your expenses.

Excellent hotel, highly recommended - not far from the center, good repair and new rooms, wonderful and helpful staff, very tasty food in the restaurant on the ground floor, good breakfasts. There is a swimming pool (free included for an hour a day)

Very nice hotel, with good rooms, very clean and with all the comforts, and with a staff that will do everything possible to help you. The room service is great and super cheap, as is the terrace restaurant they have. The location is good, although it is true that it is about a half hour walk from Registan. The only bad thing was the breakfast, which was very, very weak. They told us that it was because there were few guests, but the truth is that it was so bad that I have not given it an excellent rating for this. However, totally recommended.
