The room smelled very much like sewage. Terrible. The pillows were hard.
If this is fixed, then overall it is a good hotel, great staff, delicious breakfasts and a free area with a jacuzzi and hamam.

If you are walking straight from the Registan, it takes about 10 minutes. If you are walking at night, please be careful of your step. There are few street lights. The hotel entrance is directly in front of the gate. The receptionist spoke English. Both the service and the facilities are excellent. I personally liked that they provided bar soap.

We were very satisfied with our stay at this hotel. Although it’s rated 4 stars, it offers amenities and service comparable to some 5-star hotels. Our room was spacious, featuring a balcony, a spotless bathroom, and four complimentary bottles of water although we are a couple. The reception staff were friendly and helpful, arranging our private visit to the SPA and swimming pool, which we thoroughly enjoyed. Breakfast was delicious, with a wider and better selection than some nearby 5-star hotels.
The only downsides were the location of the rooms, which are separate from the main building, the absence of an elevator, and open-air corridors connecting the rooms to the dining and SPA areas. This can be uncomfortable during colder months like February, so dressing warmly is advisable.
This hotel is definitely THE BEST DEAL you can find in the area and it's just 10 minutes walk from the main attraction in Samarkand.
