This is a really really nice hotel. All rooms are centered around a beautiful quiet garden with palm trees and a tiny pool. The room was huge, clean and nicely decorated. There is a nice area to relax outside in front of each room. The location is great just minutes away from the beach. We really loved it here and can definitely recommend it.

Life is Good at GoodLife Lodge! Just when we thought it couldn’t get any better, we retuned this year to discover they’ve done renovations! Love the new beds and super luxurious linens, just to name a few! We love the location, a 2 minute walk to the beach with tons of bars and restaurants to enjoy the sunset. It’s also in town so grocery and shops etc right there so no need to rent a car. The staff is super friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is included and offers a great selection, so one less thing to worry about. Really enjoyed the outdoor seating areas and plunge pool, so quiet and relaxing. Our only challenge is we only booked a week! We’re definitely coming back for 2 next year!!

….Schade, das die Zeit in der Good life lodge schon vorbei ist. Für uns war es die Beste und schönste Unterkunft auf unserer Costa Rica Reise. Angefangen vom herzlichen, unkomplizierten check-in bis zum individuellen check-out (wir wurden vom Gastgeber Holger persönlich ganz früh am Morgen für unsere Weiterreise zu der Busstation gefahren), das ist nicht selbstverständlich- nochmal vielen Dank dafür. Die Zimmer sind sauber, mit riesigem TV (gut zu wissen für alle die gerne TV schauen, wir haben ihn nicht genutzt) und das Badezimmer groß und modern. Jeden Morgen stand kostenfrei eine große Thermoskanne Kaffee für uns bereit….so kann der Tag wunderbar beginnen. Auch der schön angelegte Garten war für uns ein chilliger Rückzugsort. Zu jeder Zeit haben wir uns willkommen gefühlt. Ein ganz dickes Lob und Dankeschön an die gesamte Gastgeberfamilie.

My family of four stayed at Good Life Lodge just after New Years and it was the perfect accommodation and location for us all (my kids 19 and 21). Lodge grounds are clean and private, rooms nice size and beds so comfy, we all had best nights sleep here. Staff at front desk helped us with organizing tours and activities and transportation. The beach is a 2 minute walk away and in my opinion, it is at the best part of Samara Beach with lots of great restaurants and bars with awesome beach front seating to watch the sun rise (if you are up early enough) or watch it set....gorgeous!!! Excellent value with yummy and filling breakfast...I love the pineapple marmalade (which was not marmalade at all, it was pineapple jam...my new favourite thing). We will be back. Thank You.

süsses kleines Hotel nahe am Strand und mitten in Samara, nahe Restaurants, Bars, Shops. Zimmer sind sauber, Personal freundlich, Frühstück iO. es hat alles was man für ein paar gemütliche Tage in Samara braucht vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft

Beautiful boutique hotel. Lush grounds, very clean, lovely staff, peaceful oasis, walking distance to everything in Samara including the beach. Lovely choice of breakfasts served to you, brought right to your bistro table outside your door. I would highly recommend staying there. October was absolute best time to visit Samara. Perfect weather, no crowds, less expensive. I would absolutely go there again and stay at Good Life Lodge.

Good Life Lodge is the best! A quiet little oasis just steps from the beach, fabulous restaurants, amazing yoga, reiki, bar Pilates and charming shops. The rooms and spacious, quiet and cool and the beds are super cozy. Every room has a private little porch where you enjoy a delicious breakfast while listening to the birds and the rustle of the palm trees. The new owners Jen and Mike are amazing and their team goes out of their way to make you feel at home. I will definitely come back to the Good Life Lodge!

Such a special little hotel to stay at. Small, intimate but with all the amenities to make your stay nice and cozy and comfortable. A 3 minute walk to the pristine Samara beach and great restaurants, the Good Life Lodge is so central without being in the ‘heart’ of Samara to remain a quiet oasis. Lovely staff, beautiful setting and simply elegant setting. We loved it!
