We absolutely loved our stay at Dominican Treehouse Village! It was the perfect place to disconnect from the outside world and reconnect with nature. We celebrated our 5-year anniversary here, and it couldn’t have been more magical. The treehouse accommodations were comfortable and clean, and we were pleasantly surprised that there weren’t many mosquitoes at all! Of course, being in the jungle, we did encounter some other insects occasionally, but that’s to be expected in such a natural setting. The staff was incredibly welcoming and made us feel at home throughout our stay. We also really enjoyed the all-inclusive meals - everything was fresh and delicious! One of our favorite unexpected experiences was swimming in the pool while it rained. It was such a refreshing and beautiful way to embrace the tropical surroundings. If you're looking for a unique and peaceful escape in nature, we highly recommend Dominican Treehouse Village!

Staying at Dominican Tree House Village was an unforgettable experience! From the moment we arrived, we were surrounded by lush tropical beauty, with treehouses nestled perfectly among the greenery. The atmosphere was peaceful, the staff was incredibly friendly, and the entire experience felt like something out of a dream. Sleeping in the treehouse, with the sounds of nature all around, was both relaxing and adventurous. The open-air design allows you to truly disconnect and immerse yourself in the stunning environment. The food was delicious, with fresh and local ingredients, and the activities—like zip were thrilling! If you're looking for a unique and magical getaway, this is the perfect place. I highly recommend it for nature lovers, couples, and anyone wanting to experience something truly special in the Dominican Republic!

The experience was not worth what we paid for the VIP room. My partner and I went to the hotel expecting to find what was advertised on the website. With a vision of improving the local population's economic conditions and livelihoods, the project leaves much to be desired. Several staff members are from Haiti; it’s wonderful that they are given the opportunity to earn an income, but don’t sell it as a project supporting the local community, as the perception, as is common throughout the country, is that it’s cheaper to employ staff from Haiti than from the Dominican Republic. The “most VIP” room in the hotel, which cost the same as if we had stayed at a luxury hotel in downtown Madrid, had holes in the

My wife and I enjoy travelling to our home country the Dominican Republic and other parts of the world like the Philippines, Spain, Italy, Dubai and Portugal. In our most recent visit, we chose to stay at the Dominican Tree House Village, as part of our ritual of trying new places. This turned out to be one of the most amazing experiences for the both of us. Initially we purposely booked the minimum two nights in case we were disappointed, with the idea that if we liked it, we would extend additional nights. Upon arrival we were mesmerized with all the greenery and trees surrounding us as we walked up to the reception area. As we walked, we continued to tell each other with childlike enthusiasm, we are in the jungle! Alex greeted us and checked us in and provided general guidance of the place and available activities and excursions. In the evening Ricky shared additional information about the place and region. I appreciated their earnestness and warm welcome. Next our luggage’s were carried to our windowless room, which was a hike up. One of the persons helping was JJ whom upon me offering a tip did not accept it. This impressed the two of us as that is not a typical behavior of most places that we have visited. The first room we stayed had the bathroom attached outside of the room. While this room did not have hot water, since August is really hot, I thoroughly enjoyed the cold showers. My wife tolerated but she preferred having hot water. The view from the room was fantastic and breathtaking. We took lots of pictures. While we were getting acquainted with the surrounding, we were asked what did we want for dinner and the options were really good. It turned out that since this was a low month in terms of guest, that for the first two days our breakfast and dinners were personalized. After additional guests arrived it was buffet style, none the less the food was amazing as the cooks are two sisters. Nancy cooks in the morning and Aide cooks in the evening. Initially we thought they were one in the same as they look very similar. I took separate pictures to see the distinction, but both cook phenomenally. By merely being immersed in nature, with great hosts, and great food, and some amenities, we both decided that we would extent two additional nights. After exploring the place, we notice that there were some rooms even higher than the one in which were staying. Hence, we upgraded to one of the highest rooms on the premises. The view was more breathtaking and the bathroom was inside while the shower was located outside in the wilderness, with hot water. I tell you this was beyond our expectations. Since this room was higher, that means more steps to walk, and Lico, a humble man of few to no words, responsible for the maintenance of the rooms, moved our luggage to the new room and at check out to the car. The 2nd room was more spacious and had a little lounge area along with two hanging chairs that swing, in which we sat and looked at t

The Dominican Treehouse Village was a fantastic destination for my friends birthday celebration. The staff was amazing and went out of their way to make sure we had a wonderful celebration. The food was fantastic, the drinks well made and plentiful. The treehouses were fun and comfortable. Rickie was a fantastic host - checking in with us daily to ensure our stay was going well.
