Salzburg-Umgebung District Hotels with Bars

We stayed here recently for two nights. Our room was clean and comfortable, with a small balcony. They have a small elevator available. The hotel is situated nicely for walking around the town of St, Gilgen, and not too far from Salzburg if you feel like going there. There is a small parking lot out back if you arrive by car. We had a car and this was a good base for driving around and exploring the area (and it is so beautiful!). The breakfast had a good selection of foods. We had dinner one night at the restaurant and it was quite as wel. The staff was always friendly.

I was living in Koppl for 6 month. Since this was the only Restaurant in the area I came here several times. But it was not opened all the time as it was written outside. One time I came at 16 o'clock they said that the cook is not here come back in 1 hour. then at 17 again but the cook still not available , maybe after 1 hour. ?!? Other time it was all closed. there was music inside , but you cannot get it. Ok.. if there is an event they should write this to know. Other time they said that from the menu you can eat just the sausage because the other things are still frozen?! So if it is operational just in Winter when it is full with tourists they should write it at the entrance. Open all the time theoretically but when you are there it is closed. When I get the change to eat here .. the food was generally ok. outside the terrace it is nice, but inside it is not.it is dirty , there are flies , the table is greasy ..and so on.

I was there for originally two nights - super friendly staff, total relaxed atmosphere, parking outside the door, bus connection around the corner and super clean rooms with bathroom for the wellness. The wellness offer was also exactly right to relax, but it started for me already at breakfast, which could be taken in a superbly bright area, even extended by a small winter garden. From time limits no trace, you could drink his 2nd cup of coffee or tea still in a quiet way, even though the official breakfast time was over. Because it was so bad, I booked one night on site for it and thank you again for the beautiful stay. It's always liked. It's rarely been taken up as lovely as you ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

We stayed two adults and three small kids in a family room. It was perfect for us. Clean and fresh hotel and room. The breakfast was great! Super friendly staff. The restaurant was great in the evenings aswell. Small gym and nice sauna in the basement. The hotel is located perfectly to go to the alps on day trips to Halstatt, Königsee, Wolfgangsee and many more places. It's also perfect to go in to the city from here. If I should say something on the negative side - there were some noise from the road if you have your room in that direction and have the window open.

This stay coincided with the road construction in front of the hotel, the hotel did not place relevant detour instructions, etc. The hotel rooms are small, the facilities are relatively old, and the sound insulation effect is average. It is said that the house is 700 years old. The service attitude at the front desk of the hotel is okay, but the waiter in the restaurant has a very different attitude towards locals and Asian tourists. They have a bad attitude towards Asian tourists and are very indifferent.

We stayed a night in this hotel and we really enjoyed it! SPA is amazing! One of the best SPA I have ever seen. It was a bit different that there was an adult only section (but I understand that it is common for the Austria). The pool in general area was amazing as well. There is pool inside that leads to outside pool. The atmosphere is amazing, everything is spotless clean. Adult area is also amazing, the view out of sauna is outstanding. You can relax and easily spend 3-4 hours there. We would definitely come back again! The staff was welcoming and friendly. The breakfast was delicious as well! We would definitely come back!

Good points •The room was very clean •The bed was fluffy •The sink, toilet, and bath area had heated floors (it was warmer than the room, so I left the door open) •The access to the tourist spots was good •The soaps smelled nice Other points that surprised me or disappointed me •There was a 50 euro deposit (I think this is normal overseas) •For some reason I paid 10 euros when I checked in (I don't speak English, so I don't really understand, and there was no sign of paying on site when I paid in advance) •There was no crosswalk to cross to Europark across the street, so it was a long detour •I wish they had a kettle that could boil water instead of Nescafe •The temperature of the air conditioner couldn't be adjusted (I tried to turn it up because it was a bit chilly, but the temperature couldn't be changed up or down)
