This is an excellent hotel about 500 metres from the railway station and within walking distance of the old town. Alternatively there are bus stops nearby, which would take you the station or the city. The rooms were modern with all the facilities you need for a city break. The rooms were also extremely clean.

We only stayed one night in this hotel but it was perfect for our needs. It's walking distance from the train station and a lovely walk along the river into the old town. We are a couple with a 13 year old son and although the room was small, it fit everything in and was absolutely spotlessly clean. Breakfast was excellent and I recommend this hotel for a short stay in Salzburg.

Salzburg was a special part of our European Trip, and Villa Flockner was everything we had hoped. Martin and all his team were welcoming and friendly, and offered us plenty of help with any local information, along with a friendly chat. This family owned and run villa is so clean and new looking. The rooms are extremely comfortable with all the modern amenities you could need. It's very close to the centre of town, only 15 mins walk to Mirabellpatz, but so quiet, making for a good nights sleep. City buses stop right outside the Villa making it even easier to access the city. They also have off road parking if you are driving while in Austria. We were lucky enough to have their family room which had beds for us and our two children, with a sliding door so we could be separate from them after they had been put to bed. Breakfast each morning was wonderful! A selection of European cheeses, meats and fresh bread, pastries, various types of eggs, crepes, cereals, fresh fruit, juices and coffees. Nothing more was needed, but if you did need something else, it was never a problem. We would definitely stay here again and can't wait to come back to Salzburg. The only very small negative for us was the fridge in the room wasn't great or very cold. However as soon as we raised this with the owner, he did look into it straight away for us. Super service!

A really great stay at Villa Flockner - arriving after a sleeper train disaster where our booked sleeper car never materialised the host was so kind and accommodating - messaging us as soon as the room was ready so we could have an early check in and recuperate. Absolutely saved our day in Salzburg so we could recharge and explore this beautiful city. Lovely accommodation, clean, contemporary and extremely comfortable with a great breakfast. My friend is coeliac and she was really well catered for. Thank you for a lovely stay and your very kind hospitality.

The hotel is situated within walking distance (less than 10 minutes) from the main station where train arrives from Vienna. The buffet breakfast which comes with it is very good. The owner and manger of the place is super helpful and nice in arranging for taxi and giving very good advices for running around.

This villa is close to Salzburg's main station. 5 minutes walk. The center is also easy to walk to, 20 minutes along a beautiful river. My room was spacious, equipped with all amenities. The breakfast is fantastic and compliments to the man who makes breakfast a party every morning. The room is spacious, the downside is that it is a bit warm in the room and the extractor in the shower is a bit noisy. There are plenty of tents in the vicinity of the villa to eat or drink. Furthermore, easy access to the hotel with access pass, no need to worry about staff. All in all a nice place to spend the night.

We stayed 1 night in Salzburg, Villa Flöckner, as a stop towards the south. Very clean rooms, nice air conditioning, nice bathroom with wonderful shower. Breakfast area is really nice, with good breakfast and a chef who insists on offering you what you want. The parking lot behind the villa is spacious, which is also reassuring. Right in front of the hotel there is a bus stop that takes you to the center in 2 to 3 stops. Villa Flöckner is located in a quiet area of Salzburg, a bit outside the center but not too far outside the center.

We had two rooms for a family of 5. My teen age girls loved their family room and our double room was excellent. The rooms were new, clean and had excellent fittings. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.Breakfast was outstanding. Laslo the breakfast chef produces an amazing buffet each morning and was very welcoming. Location had easy access to the bus. A wonderful place to stay.
