It is a family hotel with average facilities and a relatively remote location. There is no elevator and you have to carry big boxes up by yourself.

Ich bin häufig in Bio-Hotels in Österreich-oftmals in 4 Sterne Häusern. In noch keinem Hotel habe ich ein dermaßen ausgezeichnetes Angebot beim Frühstücks Buffet erlebt. z.B. Ziegenkäse-Bällchen aus dem Glas, wovon ich den Preis pro Glas kenne, da ich dieses Produkt gelegentlich kaufe - hier wird für die Gäste nicht gespart! Auserdem bestes, freundliches Service. Die Zimmer extrem sauber und für ein 3 Sterne Haus nicht irgendwelche Bio-Seifen und Duschgels, sondern "Maria´s" eine extrem hochwertige Salzburger Bio-Kosemtik-Marke, da sollte sich so manches 4-Stern Haus ein Beispiel nehmen. Ich war mal mit Familie und auch schon mal mit unserem Labrador da. Die Zimmer, die Hundebesitzern mit ihren Fellfreunden zugeteilt werden, sind auch sehr schön, also nicht irgendwie die 2te Wahl oder total veraltet.

Very kind and serviceminded staff (German or English, sir?), spacious room and excellent breakfast. 20 minutes from Altstadt/citycentre. Free parking. Nice and quiet neighborhood. Would recommend to all. Salzburg Airport is 3 km from the hotel, so a good choice even if youre going somewhere else the next day. Salzburg is always worth a visit!

Ein süßes Hotel und super liebes und engagiertes Personal! Der einzige Nachteil- Hotel hat keine Klimaanlage und wenn das Zimmer zur Hauptstraße zeigt - etwas ungut! Aber das Personal findet für alles eine Lösung!! Wirklich top! Und das Essen ausgezeichnet

The staff were all very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was excellent. We were particularly impressed by the wide selection and freshness. Everything was replenished promptly and there was plenty of it. Even though the busy main road ran right alongside the hotel, we slept very well with the window open and the birdsong. The room at the back was surprisingly quiet. We also appreciated the direct bus connection into town. We just would have liked more hooks in the bathroom for hanging up a towel or clothes/toiletry bag. We would have liked to have taken a small jar of honey with us, but we understand the limited availability. All in all, we think the concept of sustainability and regionality is great.

Me and my husband stayed from 24th May 2025 to 28th May 2025. And the end of our stay we felt very sad to go to Munich which was our second leg of the journey. This hotel is fantastic. The rooms are spacious. Fantastic bed, hot water in bathroom. Best of all we did not spend a single euro buying mineral water. We got fresh safe drinkable water both hot and cold directly from the bathroom tap. The best part of this hotel is SERVICE SERVICE SERVICE. The front desk reception lady is fantastic. She gave all information and helped us time and time again. All in all thank you reception lady and we would definitely stay at Das Grun again and again whenever we get to go to Salzburg again. The ideal starting point for various excursions and visits to all the city's sights. Wonderful cafés and restaurants are easily accessible by bus. A day ticket costs €4 per person. We were able to safely load and park our bikes in the garage.
