The hotel is in a pedestrian street, with two or three restaurants downstairs. There is a small fountain at the door, which is very suitable for children to play.
The hotel elevator is relatively small and the interior decoration is relatively simple. Parking is not available in the hotel. If you drive by yourself, you will have to hear the underground of Barami Palace, but fortunately it is not far away.
It takes five or six minutes to walk back.

My husband and I stayed here for two nights and we really liked this hotel. It is in a fabulous location. We arrived by train from Vienna, and were able to take one of several buses from the HBF to the hotel. It is less than a five minute walk from where the bus drops off to the hotel. The hotel is in a great location, there are restaurants, bars, cafes, etc right outside the hotel. Our room was large and had everything we needed. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. This is a great place to stay to explore Salzburg.

My husband and I stayed for two nights. We arrived early and were allowed to drop off our bags, so that we could set out and tour the beautiful city of Salzburg. When we came back to check in, we were delighted with our room. It was spacious and the A/C was working well - something that isn't always the case in certain European hotels. The hotel even left us a complimentary bottle of sparkling water. The bed and the pillows were very comfortable, which helped allow me a good night's rest. In the morning, the breakfast buffet was well stocked with a wide variety of delicious delectables to choose from. I highly recommend this hotel for your stay in the enchanting city of Salzburg!

This is one of 2 Leonardo hotels in Salzburg, and is in a great position to explore the city. Right outside the door there are cafes, restaurants and other shops in a series of streets that are car free most of the day. A short walk takes you to the bridge to the Old Town, and Mirabell Palace and Gardens is 5 minutes away. The room was a decent size, thought the bathroom was small. There was a kettle and coffee pod machine, and plenty of cupboard space. Be aware that the streets are closed to traffic after 11am, so if you’re driving yourself you may need to walk some distance from the car, but taxis are allowed access. The lobby is also strange, up on a half floor just above the entrance, but the lift works fine and there’s no need to use the stairs. There are nice views across the rooftops from many rooms, and despite the location in the midst of a popular area we heard no noise in the rooms. Staff were very helpful, and very receptive to our unplanned late arrival.

Had a lovely 4 night stay at the hotel. Great location, literally 10/15 minute walk to all of the major sites in the old town. The hotel is near to a host of bars and restaurants. Room was very comfortable and had double aspect windows on to the street below. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet had a good range and there’s something for everyone on offer.
