The hotel price in Salzburg is slightly more expensive than that in Vienna, but the room is OK, quite big, and the cleaning is timely. It is not in the city center, and it takes one bus stop to get there, but the city is quite small, so walking is not a big problem.

This hotel is quite convenient. It only takes about 1 minute to get to the city center by bus. The hotel is relatively old but the facilities are quite complete. The biggest problem of this hotel is that it is too noisy. The room assigned to us is on the 3rd floor. There is a main street outside the window. There are still many vehicles passing by at 11 o'clock in the evening. It is difficult to sleep. There are also various cars and motorcycles without mufflers on the street.
What's more terrible is that there is a construction site about 20 meters away from the opposite side. There are still large machines working at 11 o'clock in the evening. Because the hotel is relatively old, the windows are not double-layer soundproof glass, and it is almost impossible to soundproof.
If you are going to the lake area from Salzburg, there is a bus No. 150 downstairs that goes directly to the lake area. It takes about one and a half hours to get to the lake area. But there are many people going back and forth, so here you often can't get on the bus because the bus is full. You still have to take the bus to the starting station of No. 150 (Salzburg Railway Station) first.
