Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen – immer wieder ein Genuss! Ich war bereits mehrfach im Saltauserhof zu Gast und jedes Mal aufs Neue begeistert. Vom herzlichen Empfang bis zur letzten Minute fühlt man sich hier rundum bestens aufgehoben. Der Service ist aufmerksam und persönlich, das Essen auf konstant hohem Niveau – ein wahres kulinarisches Erlebnis! Ein Haus mit Tradition, Charme und echter Südtiroler Gastfreundschaft. Ich komme garantiert wieder!

Wir sind nach Jahren zurückgekehrt, nachdem wir auch ein paar andere Hotels in Südtirol ausprobiert hatten, u.a. das Petrus in Bruneck. Unser Resümee, der Saltauser Hof bietet ein fantastische Küche, die deutlich teureren Hotels in nichts nachsteht bei einem sehr guten Preisleistungsverhältnis. Jedes Jahr wird an der einen oder anderen Ecke was verbessert, ausgebaut oder aufgehübscht. Wenn man mit Kindern reist, können Eltern sich entspannen. Nichts ist steif, Kinder sind wilkommen und Sonderwünsche werden jederzeit realisiert. Vom Hotel gehen diverse Wander- und Fahrradwege ab. Die Hirzer Seilbahn startet am Hotel und die ganz Kühnen können mit dem Gleitschirm gen Tal gleiten. Das Auto benötigt man eigentlich nicht. Wir kommen wieder.

„Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in diesem Hotel sehr genossen. Das Essen war hervorragend und hat uns jeden Tag aufs Neue begeistert. Das Personal war immer freundlich, zuvorkommend und hilfsbereit, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat. Die Lage des Hotels ist perfekt für Wanderungen, direkt vor der Tür beginnt das Wanderparadies. Auch der Bus hält direkt vor dem Hotel, was sehr praktisch ist. Wir können dieses Hotel wärmstens empfehlen!“

Abbiamo prenotato tempo prima tramite booking per visitare i mercatini Natalizi. Purtroppo, a causa di un' influenza non siamo potuti andare ed abbiamo chiamato 1 o 2 giorni prima per far presente la cosa . La reception ha ben compreso la situazione e ci ha suggerito intanto di chiedere la cancellazione a booking ed avevamo inteso che tale procedura potesse servire ad evitare il costo della camera che la struttura avrebbe potuto riassegnare ad altri ospiti anche ad un prezzo maggiore visto che le tariffe dell' ultimo momento erano certamente superiori. Al contrario il giorno seguente ci è stato addebitato l'importo completo e la struttura ha avuto la possibilità tra l'altro di assegnare ad altri la camera. QUINDI GUADAGNANDO DUE VOLTE Abbiamo richiamato ma non abbiamo mai potuto parlare con il responsabile che si è limitato a rispondere via mail in modo molto freddo e supponente facendo riferimento alle normali procedure booking . Pensiamo che il buon senso in tutte le cose debba esistere e se seguire le regole significhi trattare in questo modo i clienti staremo ben lontani da questa struttura e probabilmente anche da MERANO. Kosten für Hunde
Alles in allem hatten wir einen guten Aufenthalt im Hotel. Die Zimmer sind gross und ruhig. Da wir mit unserem JHund unterwegs sind ärgern wir uns immer wieder über die hohen Kosten für die Vierbeiner. Ich denke, dass nach unserem Aufenthalt niemand bemerkte, dass ein Hund im Zimmer war. Wir fänden es angemessener, dass eine Pauschale für den Hund berechnet würde und nicht einen Betrag pro Nacht.

Ein Hotel mit viel Charme, wir hatten ein tolles Zimmer und es gab hervorragendes Essen. Das Personal sehr , sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend. Einziger Nachteil, viel zuviel Tische im Speisesaal, war etwas eng gestellt und dass Hunde im Speisesaal erlaubt sind obwohl ein Teppichboden verlegt ist, finde ich nicht so toll. Nix für Allergiker. Aber wir kommen gerne wieder

Great, but needs some improvement
Overall it was a lovely stay. The food was very good, both for breakfast and dinner. I also loved that they offered fresh juices, which is not something many places offer. I think the hotel rooms are in need of refurbishing as they are quite dated. I also think the hotel should definitely be fitted with air conditioning as it was far too hot throughout the whole hotel, in the gym and in our room. We had the electric fan going all night and the window open but that still did not allow for a fully rested sleep as it was so hot.
