The bathtub is not in the bathroom. The bathroom has a dry and wet separated shower. The bathtub is independent in the room and can be blocked by a screen. It is close to the Saltburn beach.

Lovely warm welcome to a really fabulous hotel. Great bar area our number 11 room was really quite something breakfast was perfect. Staff were warm and accommodating especially Sue on our arrival and leaving. Look forward to a return visit.

First impressions - such as the grizzly bear (not real!) and vintage radiogram in reception, and the florid décor - might not be everyone's cup of tea, but give this excellent hotel a chance. In its own way, it has charm and character. Check-in was friendly and easy (as was check-out). Our pleasant room was light, spacious, comfy beds and, like the rest of the place, faultlessly clean. Nice garden, and overall in an excellent, quiet position, merely yards from the main promenade. We secured a web-deal via a third party, and saved considerably on the (somewhat high) regular price. Breakfast (included) was interesting in as much as everything is served at table, even cereals, yogurts, fruit, etc. This is a great idea, as it cuts down on waste, and is all rather civilised. I mixed and matched from the cooked menu, and it was great, good choice, top quality, and beautifully presented. Breakfast room staff totally excellent. We felt really at home at Brockley. Well done to the whole team.

Not really up to 4 star standard: The breakfast service is odd - the standard method of self service for cereals and fruit would improve their system in my opinion. The evening meals were a disappointment and the staff seemed not to be sure of how to serve customers!

Wasn't very welcome made by the hosts. Very niggly when I made a small complaint about the hygiene of the place. Certainly won't be back again. And would advise others to look elsewhere as plenty of better places around. Just wish this place had tried harder

After seeing this hotel and its owner in four in a bed, I would never stay here. What a horrible woman! I’m sure her being on the programme didn’t do her any favours. She moaned about a bed being too small but it was a normal size it was more a case of her being too big for the bed!! Nasty nasty woman, avoid this hotel

Wow! What a fabulous find this amazing hotel was for our all too short a visit to Saltburn by the Sea! It was the perfect location for us as we were attending a friend’s 90th birthday in neighbouring Redcar. Family owned and run, incredibly quirky, unbelievably beautiful decor with no expense spared! We explored the hotel several times to take in all of the unique decor. The interior design is quite something. The gardens are beautiful too. Our room was truly sumptuous in every way. I was literally lost for words on walking in! Lovely toiletries plus the softest of towels and bedding. Service, food & drinks all absolutely superb in every way. We can highly recommend the Brockley Hall Hotel and really can’t wait to visit again! Thank you to all the team!
