We love staying here when we are in SLC. Beautiful well kept hotel right in the heart of downtown making very easy to walk to events and restaurants. 10/10

Beautiful property…loved the lobby bar, the prime rib sliders were amazing. Bed was uncomfortable however, so consider sleeping elsewhere, but certainly come see the lobby and other bars.

The Asher Adams SLC has done a nice job of combining the historic with the modern. Part of the hotel is in the historic Union Pacific Depot and there is a new, modern hotel behind it. Enjoyed my stay, but watch out for charges. I used Bonvoy Points, my early morning bill included a $45 charge for Valet Parking (didn't have a car) and a $58 reward redemption charge (not listed on my reservation. There is no executive lounge so as a Titanium Elite member, I was given a $20 credit in the restaurant. At in the restaurant, reminded my host that I had the credit, reminded my server of the credit, and when I went to check out and correct the other charges, reminded the front desk person that I ate in the restaurant and that I had a credit. Just got my bill, the other charges were removed but I was charged full price for the breakfast. I know it sounds petty, but I am gone now, and don't want to deal with correcting it. Nice property, incredible common areas (old Railroad depot) and the breakfast was good, just don't appreciate having to play financial auditor to be billed correctly.

Beautiful location quiet rooms, wonderful staff

I am a lifetime Bonvoy Titanium member and stayed for one Thursday night in Jan 2025. I booked the Tower Classic, King room as I was just one person travelling. I drove to the hotel and upon arrival you have the option for $40 valet or self-park. Either choice puts your vehicle a block and a half away in a private garage with no direct entrance to the hotel. I chose the self-park option (this ended up being $12) and had to hike from/to my car after parking and when departing. This is the only negative thing I have to say about this experience. Next time (at least in the Utah winter), I will just ‘eat’ the $40 valet charge. Upon check-in I was greeted by Kahn at the front desk. He welcomed me and acknowledged my Titanium status, clearly stated the benefits of my status, and said I had been upgraded to a Tower Premium King room. I checked the app and saw that several suites (most of them at the hotel) were available and reminded him that the Bonvoy Titanium benefits state that the hotel will upgrade Titanium members to rooms “including select suites”. He checked his system again and confirmed that none of these were available. My experiences at other Marriott hotels that recently opened (as this one has done), is that management does not designate many rooms as “upgradable” but do so as time goes on. I will be back in the future to test my theory. Now, on to the real reason why this hotel is so special…it’s the staff! Obviously, management has trained the staff thoroughly as every member of the staff that I met provided an elevated experience. First, I would like to recognize Kahn at the front desk. He is the suave gentleman dressed like he came right out of the roaring twenties and perfectly fits into the motif of the lobby area. That being a restored train terminal from long ago. His professionalism was on-par for such a classic environment, and when he came out from behind the check-in podium to spend a few minutes describing to me the history of the lobby, it really made the experience extra special! Kahn is a superstar! Next, up at No. 119, the whiskey forward bar that overlooks the terminal as well as South Temple Street, I had the pleasure to talk with Erick, he is one of the bartenders. Not only were his drinks crafted perfectly, but his conversation with me and the other patrons made for a special experience. He was even able to give me a tour of the “Gandy Dancer” when asked (this would be a great spot for a private event, see pics!). Lastly, I had dinner at Rouser while sitting at the bar. The bartender was Joel, and again it was a great experience talking with him about his passion for crafting cocktails. I had wine with my steak dinner, but for dessert I had him make me a “bartender’s choice” cocktail and he did not disappoint. It was a great, crafted cocktail to end my night on. Oh, by the way, my dinner was excellent. I ordered the NY ***** special with the grilled eggplant and a side order of the bread with the honey coal butt

Absolutely stunning remodel of the train station. My husband and I really enjoyed our stay here and will be back! The valet service was friendly and we loved the option to text so our vehicle could be ready by the time we came down from our room. Front desk staff was welcoming and flexible when we needed to make some adjustments to our reservation. We also hit the coffee shop frequently and the staff there were lovely too! We liked the setup and layout of the room. It had a clean crisp feeling with a nice window overlooking the shopping area and mountains. The bed was comfortable with soft sheets and fluffy pillows. We felt like they paid attention to the details when designing the rooms which contributed to the full experience. We loved the hotel ambiance in the evening and enjoyed cocktails with friends in the lobby. The overall service was exceptional.
