Château Pech-Celeyran

We truly looked forward to staying on an actual winery, albeit for just one night. Unfortunately, we could not make it there before the check in closed. And that is where our troubles started. We never got instructions for after hours check-in (although we were later told that they were emailed to us as they closed the front desk for the day). We had to dial 3 different numbers before we got a hold of some person. They sent another person to even open the from for us. However, the young man turned around an left, so we were left to figure everything out on our own. When we could not find how to turn on AC, we tried to message or call someone again, but to no avail at all this time! So, we had to suffer with just floor fan for the whole apartment in a very hot night. The apartment itself was nice, but scarcely supplied. I think, that, if we arrived earlier and had someone available to help us figure out, the experience may have been significantly better. The final disappointment was when they refused to give us any kind of resident discount at the winery after we tasted their truly delicious wines.
