A beautiful house just outside Caldas da Rainha, 12 km from Óbidos Castle, owned and operated by an Australian couple, Fabian & Selina, is a real gem. Their outdoor garden, terrace and pool is so inviting and guest rooms, lovely and well equipped. They offer a continental breakfast and extras e.g. eggs cooked according to your liking. The hosts were professional, friendly and personable, so much so that we opted to stay an extra night. Their recommendation of restaurants in the area were also excellent. This place comes highly recommended.
