Comfort Inn & Suites Salina North

Had been a while since we had stayed here, when we pulled up to the front door, it looked like we were pulling into a homeless camp. A group of men were sitting at a table full of beer cartons, and they had a small portable grill going right by the hotel entrance. Made us feel very uncomfortable, and then when we got to our room we were right over the top of I-35, road noise was terrible and the blinds were broken and did not keep out the bright lights of the highway. Bed was very comfortable👍👍. Sunday night staff had no idea what Severe Storm protocol was at this facility?? Saturday night staff and Monday morning staff were very friendly and seemed to care about their customers. Room key cards were a big issue, had to keep going down to front desk for new cards to get back into rooms. I was very disappointed to pay $200.00 a night for a hotel that most definitely needs a make over!! Oh and when we left on Monday morning, there was a homeless person sitting at the beer drinking/cooking table, charging his cell phone. Just another factor that I would not expect for a $200.00 a night room. We always try to stay at Comfort Inn, but the next time in Salina we will probably look elsewhere ☹️☹️

Dirty bathroom. Small room. Power out. Water leaks in ceiling. Kind of run down.

Very friendly staff and clean, comfortable rooms.

Morning Breakfast was not early enough

Great stay, close to highway!

Worst experience ever. Room was filthy and toilet had been used. When asked to speak to manager the desk lady Mel was very rude and said she was busy. When I persured the issue the GM Amber came out and basically downed played the issue and did not want to make it right.
