Decent stay at the lake
I would say this place is ideal for a weekend by the lake. There is hot water, clean bedding, direct access to the lake, and a nice bar area. The pool is also great.
The people who work here are really helpful and nice.
Its not a luxury stay but very nice.

Safari beach lodge ist wunderschön gelegen, mit niedlichen Häuschen, bequemen Betten und einem traumhaften Blick auf den Malawisee. Das Essen ist sehr gut, der Pool sehr sauber und sowohl die Angestellten als auch Wim (der Besitzer) sind immer sehr bemüht den Aufenthalt angenehm zu gestalten. Fantastic lodge to spend a relaxing couple of days. Beautiful surroundings and comfortable and very clean rooms. Great view over the lake where you see the boats from the nearby fisher’s village. What also makes this place unique is the welcoming atmosphere, created by the staff!

Overpriced tourist lodge ,and need of maintenance. Mattresses are a disaster. Power was off most of the time although generator on site.The toilets in the room we stayed in had no seat, the shower was scary . The pool is a nice touch that almost makes up for the fact that the beach access is garbage here. Better you go to sunbird Livingstonia .The surroundings at the lodge were beautiful, but again all the furniture was falling apart and just looked very tired. We will be staying somewhere else the next time we go to Senga Bay.

The place is serene and always a good getaway surrounded by water, monkeys and cozy chalets fit for different family sizes. Beach is excellent for meditation at sunrise or at sunset if you prefer. Staff are friendly and ready to help 😺 The breakfast was however cold and there was no variety compared to the other visits.

The lake is very full at the moment so there is no beach and the area next to the lake is dirty, but that is not their fault. Better to check lake levels before booking this place else you will have no beach. Nice location next to the lake, set a bit above the lake. Lovely, well-kept gardens. Chalets are comfortable if you don't mind climbing down steep stairs to the upstairs room. Very nice bar and the view from the bar at sunset is is wonderful. Breakfast was very good. There were no internet on the first day, following morning only intermittent internet at reception. The cellphone signal is also very bad.

Part of a group of 9. Enjoyed our two night stay, very relaxing and staff all very friendly and helpful. Two minor problems with one chalet resolved quickly and efficiently when mentioned to management.
