The Postcard Saligao feels more like a home than a hotel. It is small, cozy, elegant, tranquil and very relaxing. The staff is first class in their attentiveness, knowledge and service. The rooms are elegant and pleasant and the bathrooms are very nice. The food was also very good. All in all, very recommended for an escape from the city and a quiet hideaway in a beautiful setting.

This 225 year old property still maintains its old school Goan charm while The Postcard team provides a very luxurious modern experience including all amenities. The entire experience right from check-in to check out is relaxing and screen free. There is a very welcoming ambiance created both by the very helpful staff and the property. With no reception desk, it does not feel like a hotel and the welcome drink options are divine, so your stay will be off to a great start. The rooms are spacious and the definition of quiet luxury. They are equipped with every amenity you could possibly require. The bar cart is stocked with some of the best tea we have ever tried, alongside various types of coffee and snacks such as chocolate balls, sakarpara and chewda, all made fresh and in-house daily. The staff is never seen but is always there having anticipated your needs before you even voice them, we received protein bars by the pool when we spent a lot of time in the water and were served peanuts and cashews when we were enjoying the excellent cocktails. Postcard has a very unique concept of anytime breakfast wherein they prepare fresh food comprising of local delicacies such as Ros Omelette, Patal Bhaji etc. It is highly recommended to run through the whole breakfast menu in small quantities as it is hard to pick any one dish that we liked above the rest. The chef prepares excellent chicken caffreal, pork vindaloo, masala fried fish and lamb xacuti. All the dishes were served with butter garlic poee (local bread that they buy fresh everyday from a local baker). Som Chander ***** with Mukul and Ankit, with the rest of the staff put together an excellent evening to celebrate my father-in-law’s eightieth birthday. The decorations, cake and the entire staff being present to sing him happy birthday brought him a lot of joy. They curated a special dinner menu for the birthday dinner which was lip smacking. We would highly recommend everyone to try each and every cocktail that they offer, especially the Citrus Smash, a pani puri inspired drink. Postcard has truly redefined what a hotel means to us and set a new hospitality standard and we look forward to staying at their other properties.

What can I say about this hotel that hasn't already been said by other guests? This five bedroom Portuguese hotel is exquisite in every sense of the word. We were there for my husbands birthday and Som, the hotel manager, and Mukesh made it a birthday to remember. The building itself is a c.200 year old Portuguese building that has been added to over the last few years. We checked in at 'reception' (No big desk or computers in sight!). Mukesh offered a feni cocktail or a cocktail made from kokum. Both delicious! Our room was delightful. Beautifully decorated with every detail perfectly arranged. Spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The handwritten note from Som on our pillow, the decoration with balloons wishing my husband a happy birthday, again with a hand written note. Perfect. The food .... Pranab is genius chef, he knows how to balance flavours and presents his dishes perfectly. Every meal is cooked to order. A tip is to call and pre order. They will call you when your order is ready There are no TVs in the rooms (apart from one) as they want to transport you to yesteryear values. And it works. The Postcard has a 'no tip' policy as there is a small service charge on food and drink. This actually saves money in the long run. Please note there are no fridges in the rooms. The final delight for us was the offer of a self timed check in/out . We checked in at 10am and out at 6pm the next day. This can only be done, if the room is available. All in all, this hotel is perfect. The staff are amazing, the building is incredible and the ambience is fabulous. Not cheap, but you can't put a price on quality. Will we visit again? You betcha!! Thank you guys, you made Dave's birthday perfect!

Best luxury boutique hotel in Goa. Excellent location, great food and the best service ever. Just 5 rooms so all very personal and intimate. A very special mention for Shikha and her wonderful team for making everything so memorable. The last room on the first floor is the cosiest.

My family and I recently visited The Postcard Hotel in Saligao, Goa. We initially debated between The Taj and The Postcard but chose The Postcard because of two unique features: - Anytime check-in and check-out - Breakfast available anytime you want It was our first stay here, and honestly, we were unsure if we made the right decision. But it turned out to be our best vacation yet. Here's why: - Outstanding Personalized Service: - On day one, I ordered poha with specific instructions. The next day, they prepared it exactly the same way without me repeating myself. - They noticed I prefer coffee without milk. When I ordered tea later, they proactively served it without milk, asking politely if I'd like milk on the side. - Thoughtful Surprises: - Before we headed to the beach on day two, the staff placed two towels and beach toys for my son in the car. - At departure, water bottles were already waiting for us in our vehicle. - Cozy & Clean Resort: - Small, comfortable, and exceptionally clean rooms. - They use sustainable products, which we appreciated. - Delicious, Fresh Food: - Meals are freshly prepared using local ingredients. No gravy stored overnight. - Expect about 20-30 minutes waiting time for orders, but it's completely worth it. - Warm and Welcoming Staff: - Every request was met with genuine smiles. - Throughout our three-day stay, we never heard a single "no." If you're wondering whether to book The Postcard, don't hesitate. It's like enjoying the warmth of a homestay combined with the luxury of a 5-star hotel. Special thanks to the amazing staff who made our stay unforgettable: - Shikha - Ankit - Mukul - Chandan (Laundry) - Santanu (Rooms) - Kishor (Night Shift) - Nixon - Bharti Didi - Chef Pranab, Chef Rahul, Chef Rohit I'm already planning my next stay with The Postcard Hotel. The only reason I wouldn't choose them again is if they don't have a property where I'm traveling next. Have you experienced The Postcard yet? If not, what are you waiting for?

My husband and I spent 3 nights at this hotel after a trip of one month in Orissa and Karnataka and definitely it turned out to be the right choice . The hotel is a jewel: small , only few rooms in a quiet village far from the noise of the more central areas of Goa : here you hear only the birds singing . We were in Descanso room which was amazing and, as the name suggests , really allowed us a very good rest. What impressed us was the fact that it’s you that decide , in complete freedom ,when to have your meals which are a la carte. Food was excellent and the chef always satisfied our requirements , cooking dishes with no spices at all ( after one month in India we appreciated a lot food with no spices! ).There was also a good selection of drinks and we loved to have wine at dinner . The service was excellent and the staff discreet but always caring : Ankit was great ! Shikha , with her smile and and cheerfulness was so welcoming and very helpful giving us the information we needed . The small nice presents every evening made us felt pampered . In the room there was a high quality toiletries , bottles of filtered water , a nice amenity trolley with sweets and snacks , different every day , and a very good choice of coffees and teas . During the hottest time of the day the swimming pool offered us a cooling pause . For the last day we had booked a late check out and we appreciated very much their suggestion to extend it at a more convenient time . Thank you again for everything you did for us . We recently had the great pleasure of staying at this hotel for 3 nights... which was much too short a time! From the moment we arrived, we were made to feel very welcome in a personal manner unlike other hotels. Nothing was too much trouble! We loved the room and general grounds and appreciated being able to eat meals outside! Even breakfast at 6.30am on our own outdoor table wasn't too much trouble! Food was good and we were able to sample some Goan dishes! We loved the little notes and gifts left on the bed each day! A charming touch! The team were wonderful, attentive and efficient! A haven of peace and tranquillity after exploring the busy areas of Goa!
