We stayed here for one night in August of 2024. Lace was clean and quiet. Didn’t hear anything all night long. Parking lot was filled, but didn’t see many people. Had free breakfast. Biscuits were really good for hotel breakfast. Shower had pump bottles of soap, conditioner, and body wash. They were empty. Like nobody had checked on them forever. Other than that, nice place to stay for the night.

We always stay at this hotel on our travels through VA. The views are stunning, staff are very friendly, but on this occasion I the hotel was a disappointment. One bath towel in the bathroom, no condiments for the coffee and broken blinds in the bedroom that we couldn’t open. A huge disappointment on this occasion, unfortunately.

This place was crowded with barely any parking left. Though there would be a lot of noise in the hallways but the night ended up being very quiet. Hotel is very clean. Staff was very nice and helpful for local restaurants choices.

Stayed one night on our way to Tennessee. Comfortable and quite clean. Easy to get to and very quiet. The woman working in the dining area, for breakfast, was great. She made sure every customer was happy.

the young white lady refused to give my sons airpod back. said we were trespassing when we tried to get it back accused us of breaking into the hotel called for the airpod back she said we were never getting it back called 5 more times after they blocked my number manager ben came on the phone told me to "Stop calling" and blocked me worst hotel ever dont go here there THEIFS!

Exceptional hotel. Have not one bad thing to say about it. Have always been a fan of hiltons but with this and the holiday inn in Pennsylvania I recently stayed at am quite pleased with my stay. Have family who cleaned rooms for holiday in years ago and can say that the current ones have far exceeded my expectations. Even though we stayed one night, would defiantly consider this location again.

First impression was not great. The front desk worker was outside smoking and watched us walk by with our luggage. We waited at the front desk to be checked in for more than 5 minutes. Once she got there she was polite. But you could tell she didn’t want to be there. The room itself was very comfortable but smelled very musty. Probably coming from the carpet. The breakfast was good. The worker never interacted with us. He stayed on his phone most of the time. It’s a convenient location for us but since this trip and the last one where they had no hot water, we will probably try and find another holiday inn to stay at.

Upon arriving at the front desk to check in, I was told that the water might be lukewarm at best because two of the three water heaters were not working. How does this happen? As soon as the first one broke, fixing it should have been a high-priority item. I had adequate hot water for my (brief) shower, but I'm sure some guests weren't as fortunate. That wasn't the only problem. I couldn't use the computer terminal in the lobby because it was out of order. The door to my room did not close properly. I had to shove it closed. Suppose the room had been rented to an elderly woman? She would have had a hard time with the door. Finally, I found a long hair on the floor near the refrigerator, indicating that housekeeping didn't do its job thoroughly enough. The only good thing to say is that the breakfast was good. If I need to stay in Salem again I will stay somewhere else.
