This is a quaint rural Manor House set in its own pretty grounds - plenty of parking. Our room was in the main part of the building on the top floor - the stairs were quite steep and could be an issue for anyone with reduced mobility. They do have ground floor rooms in an extension off the main house. The room was huge and comfortably furnished. Bathroom was small but had all you need. However the stand out for us was the dinner in the restaurant. The chef creates magic on the wood fire in front of you (we did wonder why they had a roaring fire going in the hearth in the middle of July heatwave!). I The steaks, beef and pork, were amazing - washed down with excellent wine. The dinner house Dime menu was exceptional value for money. The welcome was warm and we loved everything about it. It is also only about an hours drive from the Caen ferry so an ideal overnight stop.

This hotel is in a peaceful, quiet setting in the countryside. The main house is 400 years old. Some of the guest rooms are in the main house, but our room was in an adjacent building. Our room was spacious & appealing. The most delightful thing about the hotel is the large, outdoor area in front of the house with ample seating areas. It is a perfect place to sit & relax, drink wine, chat, read a book, & just enjoy the beautiful setting. The dining room in the main house is cozy with a huge hearth where they cook some of the dishes ordered by guests. The 4 people in our group had an absolutely delicious dinner. Breakfast was also quite nice. This is a lovely place to stay & I regret that we did not have more time just to enjoy the peaceful setting.

Small quiet country hotel in rural surroundings, in Normandy, easy access from main road. Courtyard and front gardens most pleasant . Bedroom was small but adequate, bathroom modern. Dinner served in dining room with opened fire, used by chef to cook Normandy specialties. Menu reflects Normandy local produce. Would have enjoyed it more if the staff had been a little more jovial and friendly : lacked empathy.

Our stay was 21 July to 27 July. Our first stay at this hotel. A lovely hotel in an old manor house. Our room was spacious,comfortable,well decorated and the bathroom modern and spotless. The meals were superb, cooked to order using fresh local produce. Meat dishes cooked on a wood burning fire in the dining room. Exceptional standards at this hotel run by people who care.
