Cadre magnifique accueil chaleureux. Le cottage est très bien aménagé avec le calme du parc. Le repas et petit déjeuner excellents je recommande vivement ! Parc magnifique avec le Cèdre du Liban superbe. Nous y reviendrons volontiers pour un prochain séjour.

Très bon moment au château du Romerel, chambre « vol de nuit », avec vue sur la baie de Somme. Accueil chaleureux, chambre de style calme et spacieuse , petit-déjeuner de qualité ! Sans oublier le cèdre du Liban de 1803 planté dans les jardins. Bravo !

This chateau home is quietly nestled away in a park in scenic Saint-Valery-sur-Somme, off the main road. We enjoyed the 3-person (2-room) suite on the second floor, with its extremely comfortable beds and quiet, natural setting. Hostess Justine took care of all our needs. Breakfast is plentiful in the morning, including the home's very own made apple juice. Amble private parking on the grounds. Amazing to imagine that Napoleon was hosted in this chateau's reception (reading) room on 25 June 1803. There is a fun mini-golf course across the street, but do not recommend renting the cafe's shoddy bikes. Try the outstanding "Schorre" restaurant in town (reservations required).

Un séjour de 3 nuits en semaine, avant Pâques. Tout a été un enchantement de la réservation téléphonique, à l'arrivée et jusqu'au départ ! Une chambre avec vue sur la baie, avec tout le confort souhaité. Le calme, la situation en plein centre,la propriété exceptionnelle très bien mise en valeur, extérieurement et intérieurement nous ont ravis ! La vie de château...avec le cocooning de la maison ! Magnifique décoration, propreté irréprochable et toutes les attentions du personnel adorable qui est à nos petits soins ! Petit déjeuner attentionné avec vue sur le jardin et la baie au loin. Un immense merci à toutes : Julie, Romane,et pardon à elle j'ignore le prénom de notre dernière hôtesse... Nous garderons gravés le souvenir de ce séjour paradisiaque, hors du temps !

Saint Valery sur Somme is a truly French resort nestled next to the Somme River with this jewel set back off the main street in its own vast lawned and wooded estate. We had rooms both in the Chateau and ours 'Idylle' in a wooded area next to the 25 metre indoor swimming pool and its own car park and a short walk down steps to the Chateau. We had a microwave, fridge, utensils, cutlery and a kitchen sink and afterwards a television. The beds were very comfortable and settees and desk chairs as well. The staff were very welcoming and provided an excellent continental breakfast. We will definitely be returning to renew our aquaintance.
