I liked this resort so much that I booked it for next year. You must book in advance, because it only has 15 rooms. The resort is very quiet with beautiful views looking towards the beach. The furniture was antiques and nicely furnished. The room was clean, and the kitchen was fully stocked. If you need anything, room service will bring it right up. You can walk to the beach. and the resort supplies beach chairs. There was plenty of ice in the room for drinks at the beach. We drove in, so we packed our yeti. umbrellas, beach wagon, and towels. We drove the short distance to the beach, so the setup was easy. There are beach services available if needed. The beach was not very crowded. The water was clear and clean. We went to the beach every day, and it was so relaxing. There are many shops and very good restaurants nearby. The resort restaurant on the roof top was very good. They also have a good happy hour from 5-6pm with two for one drinks. I would highly recommend but book in advance.

When we were halfway into our 5-hour drive to the hotel, they called to say the A/C in our reserved room was broken and they had to cancel our reservation. No apology. No offer to help find accommodation elsewhere. No offer of future accommodation. I was so flummoxed by the caller's nonchalance that, upon reflection, I thought it might be a hoax from a disgruntled employee. I called back the next day to check, and no, it was real.

My husband and I have stayed at other places on the island and thought we would try this place based on pictures and reviews. It is a nice place close to the beach. We had a partial view of the water from our balcony. The bedroom was nice and the bed was very comfy and clean. The kitchen was stocked with dishes and pots for cooking. They had a keurig and a few coffee pods for us to use. The continental breakfast in the lobby was not worth our time. The couch in the living area was not the most comfortable. We were lying on the couch watching a movie, and a roach was crawling on my husband's shoulder. Obviously, they have a problem. Also the walls are thin and the room next to us was a girls' trip and we could hear everything all night. Luckily, they left the next morning. All said, I would stay here again because it was very quaint and cozy.

The style of the property was really nice. Very conveniently located to shops amd restaurants and right across the street from the beach. What i did not like was the stains on the couch in our room amd rhe restaurant food was not the best. The waitresses and entertainment were great but food not so much. There was also what looked to be blood on one of the bed pillows.

Hotel guest not given priority parking, restaurant customers use hotel’s spots.
Coffee machines were limited and not functioning properly. Breakfast was limited, fresh food was limited to micro apples.
Hotel staff smoking visibly near elevator and in car park.
Tv remotes were sticky and tacky to the touch.
Shower drain’s tiles were loose and stuck to bottom of foot in the shower.
Advertising oversold on most features of hotel.

WOW! What an Amazing Experience! I cannot speak highly enough about this property, the staff, the location and especially Chef Matt. This place is truly a beauty and the Food is incredible!!!! I was literally blown away by the meals that were prepared for us while staying there! The Shrimp & Grits is a MUST try. The rooms are as stunning as the View! We will definitely be back as often as we can!
