Very Clean very simple and the beds are extremely comfortable. Amanda was excellent when she finally heard about our dilemma that trip.com lied to us about and took over 3 days to still not satisfy the concern.

The week of Feb 23-March 1, 2025 my two friends and I stayed at St. Pete Beach Resort. It is a combination of a new and old facility, however, our 1st floor room, was very disappointing and old and in poor condition! We complained, but were told they had no other rooms to move us too. Here’s a list of issues: The door to our room was so warped that we literally had to use two hands and a lot of strength to pull it open and pull it shut. The couch bed mattress was extremely worn, so thin and impossible to sleep on. We complained about this and were told that a foam topper was ordered the day we complained, but it did not arrive until the day before we left. In the meantime, they provided a rollaway mattress that we had to lay on top of the couch bed mattress. The bed frame also tilted inward causing our friend to sleep on an incline. So uncomfortable! The other two beds in the suite had the most uncomfortable pillows (very hard and square) and on day one we had to ask for different ones. They were able to scrounge up only one replacement pillow. Speaking of furniture, one of the couch cushions was torn and not repaired. The lone chair was filthy dirty and had a broken back leg! The bathroom did not have a fan or a window that could open, so when taking a shower, the room became extremely steam filled causing us to have to open the door while using the bathroom to get air circulation. Also, the shower did not drain completely. On day one, we noticed that the shower head was filthy and had not been cleaned in a very long time. We reported this and the cleaning staff came in to clean it. The walls were chipped (some patched without being sanded and repainted) as was much of the molding. It looked like we were in a skid-row motel. The moldings were also so dirty, a reflection of the cleaning service. One section of the bathroom molding (next to the shower) was rotting and moldy. The blinds were all broken and very difficult to open or close. The windowsill in the couch area had a huge chunk of plaster missing as did the wall under the air conditioning unit in the bedroom. We heard scratching in the walls twice throughout the week. When we told the office staff, they said that they have regular pest control and we were probably hearing something else. Two is us distinctly heard the scratching IN the walls. On the positive side, the pool was nice and appeared to be newer. We spoke to the office staff several times throughout the week and she came into our room to see the issues and agreed that it was not right for us to have to deal with them, but did not have any other solutions other than suggesting that we call the manager who lives in California. When we spoke to the manager and she agreed to refund one portion of the fee $1,680.42 we paid to stay there. We split the room three-ways for a total of $560.14 each. We feel that we should have received a complete refund! For this price, we should have had a room in much better condition and

Very clean and updated room. Amanda was very helpful and friendly. The pools were nice and clean. The pool towels were a bonus. Overall nice property convenient to beach and restaurants. The city offers FREERIDE which is super cool. We would definitely visit again.

Staff is super friendly and flexible. Infrastructure is great and so close to the beach. Make sure to use the bikes they offer and enjoy the pools. We will be back for sure !

NO THANKS. The first time I stayed at SPB Suites in January 25 it was so lovely. The room was a poolside room and everything was perfect. I moved to St. Pete and decided to stay again for the first few days while I waited for my home to close. We got in after hours to find that the room was absolutely HORRIFYING. First of all it was not a poolside room, it was a road side room. In addition to the room being generally run down, I encountered unacceptable issues including dirty dishes (lipstick and food residue), cigarette butts outside the door, grime, unpleasant odors, bugs, and a dirty couch. I paid good money for a poolside room but was placed in a rundown room adjacent to the road. Unfortunately because it was almost midnight we had no choice but to stay. We left first thing in the morning before they even opened. The manager, Amanda was very understanding and even confirmed herself that the room conditions were not suitable for guests, and that she has been trying to tell the owners not to put people in this gross room. She agreed with me that I deserve a refund and promised she would get back to me but just lied and never got back to me. Even though I deserve a FULL refund I am only asking for a refund for the night we didnt stay. I have been fair, and kind, and reasonable and my request is more than justified. As of now, I have been completely ghosted by them, my phone number blocked, my emails blocked. This is just disgusting and just horrible Business practice. Pick another spot, this place isnt worth it.
